“On this day forth, Analise La Amoura Aaget, former Princess of the Aaget Kingdom, has committed treason against her own country; Ochana. By Murdering the former Emperor of the Aaget Kingdom, Emperor Aaget Amoura The 3rd. And is now sentenced to death by Anala La Amoura Aaget the new ruler and Empress of this country and the Aaget Kingdom.”
I Analise La Amoura Aaget on this day met my end by the hands of my sister; Anala La Amoura Aaget.
My sister betrayed me and murdered my father to become ruler of the throne. I Analise was fighting for the throne along with my sister. She knew I was next in line, but father never wanted me to get the crown.
She had a plan to get the crown and I, like an idiot, stood by and let her have it.
Father, when he was alive, was an idiot of a king. He stood by and allowed her to commit crimes with a blind eye.
And for what?
So she could get the crown and earn the favor of the people?
She always had his favor. And yet… Here I am at my execution because he was an incompetent ruler.
He allowed this country to fall to the hands of someone as greedy and inept to rule like my sister; Anala.
I look up to her sitting on the throne.
‘That should be me.’
I look at her with anger in my eyes.
“All of you will pay one day. You will see that she cannot rule this country and it will be led to poverty and corruption.”
She looked at me and smirked and mouthed something that made my blood turn cold.
‘It was always me. I did everything.’
‘Everything I had ever known about this country was false. Everyone around me set me up to this moment. I died because I was too weak to fight back.’
I scream.
“Ahhh!”
‘God! I swear, if I get a chance to come back, I will make her pay and bring justice to this kingdom! These people will be brought down the path of destruction! God please! I beg of you! Give me one more chance!’
As I continued to scream, the guillotine came down on my head.
The next thing I knew, I was in a 7 year old’s body.
I quickly went to the mirror.
My long silver hair flowing the same length as when I was a princess in my youth.
My blue eyes no longer hold the innocence I once had.
The only thought in my mind.
“They will pay.”
I was brought back from the future to rewrite history and exact revenge on those who have wronged me and this country.
Chapter 1:
I got up and ran down the hall.
My silver hair swooshing as I ran.
The first place I ran was to my mother.
My mother is very sickly and the Emperor does not take care of her, because she is a concubine.
You see, in this country the Emperor can be either a male or female to rule the country and kingdom. And whoever is the first born child is next in line for the throne.
I, Analise, am the first born by 2 minutes.
Anala was born 1 minute after me.
Anala holds hatred and resentment at the fact she could have been the first born ruler.
Her mother the Empress died during childbirth, so I am the rightful heir to the throne.
But to the Emperor I am considered an illegitimate child who just happened to be born first and Anala is the rightful heir to them.
But to the people I am the rightful heir to the throne.
It was the Emperor’s inadequacy to rule that made him slain by my sister.
He treated her with utmost respect and allowed my mother to die.
The Empress led her people into poverty while she ruled.
And my father allowed it to happen and made my mother do all of the work when the Empress died.
Knowing full well she is frail and is bound to die with all of that work added on to her sickness.
But my mother still stands strong and brought the people out of poverty and undid all of the destruction her mother brought.
My sister is the same way.
She makes rash decisions and causes destruction to the entire nation when things don’t go their way.
But they manipulate the people into thinking they have it good by making the other royals and concubines look like they are inadequate to rule.
Even now my mother gets no recognition for all that she does for the people and they think my father is doing everything along with my younger sister.
The world thinks my sister is a prodigy.
But the truth is, I am the one that teaches her everything because it was my responsibility as the eldest child to do so.
Of course she doesn’t learn anything from me and acts like she is above me.
She holds grudges about her birth against me and so does the king.
They know nothing about ruling.
My grandfather knew more about ruling than him. Before my father ruled my grandfather made this nation prosper.
I’ve heard stories about him and how he became a knight and conquered this kingdom and ruled over it and became a hero who brought peace to all the nations.
He was in the history books that I learned from by myself while I was in the Royal Library.
It said he worked with the black magic users to conquer the kingdom and that the people have it all wrong about black magic users and that they should not be afraid of them.
I’ve learned so much about them.
Only certain people who have been blessed by God himself are capable of magic. Black magic means you were blessed by both God and the Devil himself to work together to get rid of evil in the land and it depends on the person on whether or not they use it for evil or good.
Many black magic users realize the risks of having black magic and use it for good but have to hide the magic they have for protection against society.
If society knew of their powers they would be shunned upon and possibly sentenced to death if anyone ever thought they used their powers for evil.
Black magic users have both the powers of god and demons.
And White magic users typically become priests who are labeled as gods in the eyes of humans.
But what most people don’t know is; everyone can learn magic at a young age and those priests just happened to master White magic at a young age and people just happened to label them as a god or goddess.
They don’t tell anyone this because they would lose their status and everything they worked hard to get.
Most priests are greedy and know about this.
The reason most priests are high up in society to begin with is because those books are only in the Royal Palace itself.
So any person visiting the castle can read those books.
My father knows this and chooses the next priest himself and trains them himself.
He does this as a power move.
If at any time he feels he is struggling for power he trains someone to become a priest and gains the people’s affection that way.
Both the priests and Emperor himself are evil, greedy beings.
My mother was raped by the Emperor and was forced to give birth to his child.
And in return she got to live in the castle.
What my father didn’t account for was that his wife would be pregnant soon after and so was the concubine; my mother.
And it was a race on who gave birth first.
Of course my mother gave birth first to me. So I am the heir to the throne.
The Empress died while giving birth.
She starved herself while giving birth in order to stay skinny and keep her figure.
And as a result died out of sheer selfishness and stupidity.
She left the people without an Empress all because she wanted a nice figure after pregnancy.
Not only that but the Emperor takes it out on my mother everyday by giving her paperwork after paperwork and slowly killing her with work.
He is a cruel and useless ruler who doesn’t know the start of ruling a Country.
I open the doors to my mothers work room in the Palace.
“Mom!” I run up to her and wrap my arms around her and hold her close to me.
I cry out everything I’ve held in through all those years of abuse and anger at myself for standing by and allowing her to die and letting everything happen.
Allowing myself to be blamed for an Emperor’s death. Allowing the throne to go to my sister. Allowing myself and my mother to be tossed aside and killed off in the name of their selfishness.
“I’m sorry…” I cried out everything.
“Sweetie? What’s wrong? What’s gotten you so upset? Was Anala making fun of you again?” My mom asked.
I shake my head.
“Mom. I promise to make this Kingdom and everyone in it my own. I will become Empress for you.” I said to her.
My mom smiled and pet my head in a loving way.
“I know you will.”
It has been 5 years since I reincarnated.
I could not stop my mother from passing away because the fight for the crown starts when both myself and Anala become 12.
When we both become of age it shapes our futures and we are allowed to come out to the people.
Here you become of age at 12 years old.
Anala and I are technically twins from another mother.
…
I am getting ready for my Coming of Age Ceremony. In my last life I didn’t have one because I was a push over, but in this life I was adamant that I had one.
To think all it took was one talk about me and Anala sharing a Coming of Age Ceremony and he would say yes.
I did this so the people would see the difference between Anala and my way of ruling.
If I do this right the people should be swayed toward me and not Anala with my maturity and wisdom.
I walk out of my room and go to the Ballroom.
I walk into the Ballroom and everyone stops to look at me.
My father glares at me and continues on to greet the guests.
My father thinks I wasn’t going to dress up.
I usually don’t since I don’t care much for fashion but that also means I saved up my allowance to buy something nice.
Last time my father didn’t let me dress up nice and he bought me something to wear and I wasn’t aware that it was out of style and that the way I dress affects the way people see me.
I was naive and allowed both my father and sister to walk all over me.
Not this time.
This time I understand how important image is to the people.
So I dressed up.

This is what I wore.
I added the wings to add to the look. I wanted to stick out.
I heard everyone around me.
“Look at the eldest. She obviously did her homework on how to dress up for formal occasions.”
“It’s obvious she is aiming for the throne. I can tell by her looks.”
“I wonder what type of ruler she will be. She seems very mature. The youngest looks very childish but cute. I don’t think she really thought about how she should look to these type of events considering this shapes her whole future…”
“But didn’t the eldest teach her?”
“Yes but the youngest obviously hasn’t learned anything from her teacher. It’s a shame.”
I smirked.
Looks like my outfit is having the right effect on people. Now I just have to wait until my sister comes up to me because of her superiority complex.
Just then my sister came up to me.
“You think dressing up nice for 1 occasion is just magically going to gain people's approval? You’re an idiot if you think you are going to get the crown. Father already said I would be Empress. Not you.”
“Yes, but it is up to the people to decide who is Empress, not you or father. And if you haven’t forgotten I’m next in line to the throne. I just need the people to agree on that. Whether you or daddy dearest decide on who gets the crown doesn’t matter. It’s the people’s opinion that has the final say.” I said annoyed.
She just growled and walked away.
I sighed and conversed with the guests.
That was until I saw a knight staring at me.
I walked up to her to say hello.
“Hi, I saw you staring at me? Is something wrong?” I asked her.
She had long violet hair that was straight with not a single curl. I was almost unnaturally straight. One eye was covered by her bangs and she had a butterfly tattoo on her chest. She looked like she was slightly older than me and had a sword by her side and many different types of daggers as well. It was obvious she was skilled with a blade.
She looked at me calculatingly.
“You have the mark of death. I can see it in your eyes.” She said quietly.
I frowned.
“What do you mean?” I said fake smiling, like I practiced many times in the mirror.
“You died as well, didn’t you? You remember your own death.” She said and I stumbled back slightly.
‘How does she know any of this. The only way for her to know this is if she went back too… Does that mean I have to kill her if she thinks I killed the Emperor in my past life? That could be a hindrance in the future.’
“I know you didn’t do it. I saw the honesty in your eyes. Out of everyone in the Palace, I’m the best at reading people.” She said smiling.
“Then you know that my father lies to everyone about the priest and black magic and everything he does or did for this country? All of it you saw through?” I asked her.
“That is right. Talk to me later in the Royal Garden. 7pm tonight.” She said as she walked off to patrol the area.
‘She could be useful to me…’ Was my only thought as I continued to put up that front and greet guests.
…
The ceremony ended fairly quickly.
My father didn’t want to be embarrassed any longer as he was the one who bought my sisters outfit and he tried gloating that to the whole room and was made fun of since he didn’t do a very good job.
I’m not sure what he was thinking when buying that dress.
I’m pretty sure she helped him pick it out but I’m not completely sure on that.
I had some time before I would meet her in the garden so I decided to head to my room and change my clothes. I felt very uncomfortable in those clothes. They just weren’t me.
But that doesn’t mean I can’t drop the facade I put on. I dressed in something cute but still comfortable for me to wear.
When I was done changing I went to the garden to meet the girl.
…
She was waiting for me even though I was early.
She was out of uniform and was wearing a green top.
“So you came!” She said smiling.
“I thought you wouldn’t come to be honest.”
I sighed.
“How do you know this information about me dying. No one knows. Not even the King himself. So how do you know?” I said.
“Simple. I was there when you died. In fact… I was the one who sent us back. I was holding you in my arms as I killed myself and sent us back. I’ve always liked you. But you never noticed me. I was always looking at you. So when you noticed me this time, I knew you went back with me.” She said.
She looked like she was in a trance as she said that. Like she was there but somewhere else. A look of longing on her face as she continued to stare into space.
“But, how were you able to send us both back? It takes a considerable amount of magic to send one person back through time to their original bodies but you also took someone with you. How? Not even the best of Sorcerer’s have done that. So how can you?” I asked.
“I am not only a Sorcerer but also an actual Goddess. I am a Goddess sent to a human body with both Black magic, Light magic, and Element magic.” She said.
“Element magic? You mean there are more than just two types of magic?” I asked.
“Yes. The difference between a human and a God is that God’s are capable of more than just two types of magic. Gods and Goddesses are capable of performing magic in the form of their soul. Mine happens to be a butterfly. Hence my tattoo on my heart.”
“Why don’t you let everyone else know this? The Emperor can then stop using humans and portraying them as Gods in front of the people! Why do you continue to let him do this?!” I stated to her out of frustration.
“Do you really believe it’s that simple? It’s my word over the Emperor’s. That man only knows how to lie and manipulate people. If it were the Emperor’s Father I might have been able to win. But I wasn’t able to say anything, because I was born a commoner that was lucky enough to become a knight for the kingdom. If I were to tell everyone this, who would believe me? You only believe me because you know the truth of the king and this kingdom and the lie it tells its people.” She said to me.
“Okay, I see what you mean. But why didn’t you approach me if you knew I would understand?” I asked her.
“I had to be sure my magic worked. The you in the previous life would have let everyone walk all over you and I would have possibly died. No offence.” She stated.
I cringed at that.
It was true. The old me would have let her die if the truth came out. I was useless back then.
“It’s fine. I know that is the truth.” I said to her.
She laughed slightly.
“It’s okay. I found your quiet nature cute. I like that you were quiet but held strong views. And put others above yourself. It’s one of your best qualities.” She stated to me with a smile and blush on her face.
I blushed slightly.
She leaned into me and held me in a small hug.
“You don’t have to do this alone anymore. Let me fight for you. Let me be your knight and allow me to stay by your side no matter what.” She said in my ear.
She pulled away slightly, still holding me though.
I looked up at her.

It’s obvious she is strong and capable. She would be useful to me in the future.
After slowly contemplating her offer I nod my head yes.
She then got to her knees and bowed to me as she took out her sword and placed it with her blade to the ground. One knee up and the other down.
“I, Knight of the Gods; Miku Elestaria, hereby give myself to Analise La Amoura Aaget for the rest of my very being. I belong and will serve this woman through sickness and in health, til death do us part. I am yours; Analise La Amoura Aaget forever.”
‘This vow sounds like a marriage proposal.’ I thought to myself when she finished.
“Now, I am bound to you forever. The gods have given you some of my power. You are now capable of elemental magic as well as light and dark magic.” She said.
“Do you think you could teach me elemental as well as light and dark magic? I feel that could help us win over the people in the future. It would also bring us closer to letting the people know the truth behind this Kingdom and its Emperor.” I said.
“Yes, I can. But in return you must also learn how to use a sword before you learn Elemental magic.” She said with a serious face.
“Why a sword?” I asked her.
“Elemental magic is very hard on the body and in your current state you would not be able to master or even learn the basics. God's magic is very taxing on the body and costs humans a great price for using it.” She said.
“What is this price?” I asked her.
“Your body and mind will begin to deteriorate faster than any human if you do not train both your body and mind each time you use it.” She said.
“Then I guess it’s a good thing I enjoy a challenge.” I said, smirking to her.
She blushed slightly.
“I think that is all we can discuss for tonight. We should part ways. I sense someone is coming. Someone annoying and evil who may hinder our plans. I think you know exactly who.” She said as she gave me a look and I nodded in agreement.
She then went into the shadows and left.
I turned around and was met with a slap to the face.
I looked in the direction of the slap.
It was my sister Anala. Looks like she found me and wants to fight about looking like an idiot in front of everyone. How typical.
“You bitch! You have the nerve to make me look like a fool in front of everyone on my big day! It’s bad enough that I have to deal with everyone around me talking about how a concubine is the heir to the throne and that the Empress's own daughter; me, is the second in line to the throne! But then you decide to one up me on something as simple as a dress?! And then you decide you want to become Empress?! You will never become Empress! Never! Even if you start now, the people will always view you as a concubine's daughter that just got lucky. You are worth nothing. And you have no one. No one loves you and you will never be loved. You're a worthless piece of trash that will always be used and recycled by those around you. You are worth nothing.” She said panting and out of breath.
Sometimes I think she is talking about herself when she yells at me.
I sigh.
“Are you done? The reason why you always complain and say these things is because you are insecure and know I am more capable than you in ruling. And you know this. My mother is all the proof you need. She sat there making the Kingdom prosper from what your mother has done and to this day I took over her work because you and the Emperor didn’t know how and were inept at doing it. You know this and are insecure knowing that I would gain the people’s approval if I ever went or tried to take my rightful place on the throne.” I said to her with a dead expression in my eyes.
My eyes were so dead that it made her falter for a second.
“Hah! You think I’m scared of you?! Why should I be scared of someone like you? You walk like you're a corpse from the dead.” She said laughing at me.
“If you weren’t scared of losing to me before. You will be now. I no longer will hold back on you. If you want a challenge, here I am.” I said as I walked away from her and headed to my room.
She stood in her spot.
She wasn’t expecting me to fight back tonight.
There’s no way I will ever be a pushover to them again.
I will become Empress and stop this corrupted Kingdom.
