Cruise Gone Bad
Nothing But Voices Challenge

"We are going to have lot of fun on the cruise aren't we, Uncle Dave?"
"We certainly are, Terri, are you packed?"
"I am packed, and I am so excited about taking a trip to the Caribbean for my Graduation present."
"I always like you, Uncle Dave, and I am glad we are sharing a cabin on the cruise with you."
"I am too, Terrie, we have got to go to dinner, we leave tonight for Florida."
"Mom are you ready to leave for dinner?"
"I am more than ready, I am ready to leave for Florida right now, I am so excited."
"Mom do you have our bags, in Uncle Dave's Surburan, I bet it rides nice. It looks brand new."
"Yes, I am all packed and ready to go, are you ready to leave Dave?"
"I am ready Sarah, let's hit the road."
"We won't hit very much traffic, on the way, it is October, and I am glad my son Ronnie, picked a Halloween cruise to book."
"I am glad too, but I don't think Terri would mind anytime of year, she is so excited, this is her Graduation from High School gift, and her eighteenth birthday gift all rolled into one."
"Sarah I would appreciate it, if Terri, didn't put her feet on the seat of this vehicle, the man that sold it to me said, no one ever sat in the back seats before."
"She is only a kid, Dave, besides she is tired out from all the excitement."
"Terri, take your feet of the seats, they are brand new."
"Terri, is that you snoring, I will be glad when we get to Cocoa Beach, where we will be meeting my son Ronnie and his wife Andrea, and my Grandchildren Alex and Linda."
"Dave, she always snores, that is part of her diabetes, and you shouldn't be so picky about your seats, you should lighten up, after all you are seventy-six years old."
"Is that the hotel, look for Ronnie's vehicle, he was going down in Alex's car, a blue Honda Civic."
"Was Ronnie's in-law's driving down with him?"
"Yes, they were, they always go on cruises with Ronnie, they make it a family affair, although this is my first time cruising."
"There is a Honda Civic, with Delaware plates, it must be them."
"Let's get checked in, tomorrow we leave for port, and we have to get up early to board."
"Terri, you can't stay up all night, listening to music, this wasn't a good idea, sharing a room."
"Don't scream at her Davie, she has her ipod in her ear, she is sleeping already."
"This really wasn't a good idea, I can see that before we even get on the ship, can you change your mind at the last minute, Davey?"
"No unless you want to loose your money, Sarah, I am not loosing mine."
"That was exhausting, checking in, I never saw so many people in my life, waiting in line, are you okay Terri?"
"I'm okay Mom, I hear the horn blowing, I believe we are preparing to sail."
"We are moving, Mom, when will be going to dinner?"
"I believe we are all going to have dinner together."
"Do we have to eat with Ronnie's relatives, Andrea's parents?"
"That' the plan Terri, you should have told her Sarah."
"Yeah right, then she wouldn't have wanted to come."
"Does Uncle Dave, always spend an hour in the bathroom, I have got to go."
"I don't know, he left home when I was seven years old."
He is a grumpy, fat old man, Mom, I don't know how you can stand him, and why didn't you get us our own room?"
"I couldn't afford our own room, and when he offered to split the cost of the cruise and the room, I considered it a chance of a lifetime."
"But I am finding out I didn't know who he really was, like I said, he left home when I was seven years old."
"Wow, he needs to watch what he eats I never smelled such a stench in the bathroom before, no wonder he is as round as he is tall, and he still stands six foot tall."
"Just go in there and hold your nose."
"Okay, but I won't like it."
"Ronnie's mother in-law is kind of big and ugly isn't she?"
"Terri, you shouldn't say that."
"Your mother is right, you wouldn't be like this, if you had a father that lived with you."
"Now you are judging me Davey, I won't stand for that."
"It's not like you stayed in your house with your kids. You got a divorce and deserted them."
"You are right, this is not working out Sarah."
"This isn't working out Davey, I wonder if Terri, could stay in the room, with Ronnie's kids. Alex is Terri's age, and Linda is 13."
"I will ask Ronnie myself, I will go knock on his door right now."
"Ronnie, I was wondering if Terri could bunk with your children, she and your father are not getting along."
"Aunt Sarah, that wasn't the deal, you paid for half of the cruise, and you are suppose to bunk with my father. You can't inflict your daughter Terri on my kids, I paid the fare for my family."
"What do you mean, inflict Terri on your kids? Can't we compromise here, the kids would enjoy each other's company."
"That' not what my Dad told me after dinner.'
"This is a nightmare, and Terri and I don't deserve this."
"Why can't your Dad, bunk in with your children, or you and your wife for that matter?"
"That's not how it is set up Aunt Sarah."
"When is the first port in St.Martin, Ronnie?"
"It isn't for two days, and they won't let you off unless you are sick."
"Pack all your things Terri, we are docking in St.Martin today. We will visit St. Martin and spend the night there, and we will get the first flight out in the morning."
" I hope you are paying me back for my share I paid for the cruise Davey, because we will only be seeing one port."
"I am not asking you to leave Sarah, but I sure am glad you are, and take your brat with you, and don't inflict her on anyone else."
"Are you going to pay me back my portion, Davey?"
"No, I am not going to give you a dime, and I will be glad when you get off this ship."
"No wonder your wife killed herself, you are not the person I thought you were."
"That was out of line, and you will have to apoligize to me, before I will ever speak to you again."
"That goes for you to Davey, you will have to apologize for what you said about Terri."
"Never going to happen, Terri is a misfit."
"That does it, Terri, pack all your things, we are not coming back on this boat again"
"Fine with me, Sarah, now we can start having a good time, when you leave."

You really get a clear idea of what the characters are like from your dialogue. Great entry!
