Cosmo was a quiet soul in a world that often forgets him. His life is a series of repetitive motions and muted dreams. But deep within, Cosmo knew he was meant for something greater. He just hadn’t found it yet.

One evening, Cosmo stumbled upon an old shop. He didn’t know why, but something drew him inside. Among the dusty items, he felt a warmth that was guiding him and discovered a jar with a sun logo etched in. The warm feeling wasn’t in his head, he felt it throughout his body and realized the jar was a beacon to something strange, something greater.

He opened the jar and a bright light shined so suddenly, overwhelming his senses, but he felt... anew. He felt the soft touch of a benevolent hand telling him to vanish the foes that endanger its existence. As Cosmo bathed in the Light’s incandescent golden glow, it abruptly vanished as a poor homeless man snatched the jar from Cosmo’s hand and ran out.

When Cosmo came to, he was standing in a seedy alley, all bloodied and bruised with a mutilated corpse by his feet. Where most would be horrified by the sight, Cosmo was calm and wept in pure ecstasy because he understood his purpose. He was chosen to protect this Light from those who would defile its sanctity.

Suddenly, a woman screams at the bloodied sight, and the jar lit up, bathing Cosmo in the light once again.

*Three Months Later*

"How dare they call me deranged when they are the ones blinded by delusions and selfish ambitions! I will not yield, I will not relent, I will be the one who will protect the Light in all its incandescent glory! I am Cosmos, Protector of the Light! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
