Code is everywhere. Pavement cracked the bone in his arm. He had not seen the woman. She spun around and kept walking. He crashed to the ground.

There was no pain in the beginning even though his olecranon had been shattered. He was the CEO of a chemical company so he could see himself having enough insurance to cover the injury.

The color of molasses, he took steps to become well again as his wife stood by him in the hospital.

“You wanted me like this….” he smirked.

“Never that, I mean maybe a little. This’ll slow you down some.”
