Canaticulous

Not that he works, so much as talks about how any given modern film pales in comparison to old films he had never actually seen.

Coincidentally, the phrase was conceived during the showing of one such film; Ingmar Bergman's Wild Strawberries. Specifically, by a cafe owner who grew tired of his pretentious theater mates whispering insights amongst each other.

With his day of passionless tasks and irritated customers behind him, Kyle travels to one of the dozen artisan breweries in his area. Specifically, one with a "pretty decent, considering the area" $25 all vegan burger and yucca fries special and IPA with a cowboy alien on it. The barkeep is already miserable by the time Kyle's chucks squeak across the floor, ankles exposed by highwater jeans.

The sentiment was equally shared by the cafe owner, whose hatred of the pretentious clientelle was matched only by his hatred over how they kept the shop in business.

Kyle's asked to describe the IPA. He uses "canaticulous."
