The scenic, digitally charged Exorian village of Zorra bustled with activity as skycars traversed pale blue skies. Drivers swiped the air, revealing hidden screens.

Jayna and Zan, quirky twin teens eager to flaunt their newly purchased flying vehicles, passed by Zorra’s primary autobots—muscular, square-jawed, and imposing—while they swiped their screens to navigate complex video game matrixes.

“Zan, look! That little Magwl on the cell tower has a shattered wing. It’ll die quickly,” Jayna insisted. “Could we take it home? Mom’s always rescuing creatures.” Her gaze was steady, unbending.

“All right. But be quick; I promised Mum I’d get you home early,” Zan relented, maneuvering their skycar towards the tower.

Boom. Crash. The skyway’s pillars became a collapsing domino chain. Ominous black Exorian saucers, pulsing with diabolical energy, unleashed a barrage of lasers.

Zan shoved Jayna beneath the glove compartment. “Don’t worry; I’ll protect you,” he vowed.

His body trembled violently. His breath caught as he dissolved into water that flowed upward. A low growl filled the air before a sleek, stately Jagion appeared where Jan had been, majestic spotted with a thick mane.

With a snarl of confusion, Jan eyed the devastation. The Zorran Sentinels descended, their glowing skycars haloed in blinding light. Theron, cloaked in shimmering robes that resembled liquid metal, addressed the twins.

“It’s time to rise and defend Zorra,” he intoned, his voice an authoritative command. “Your transformations are the key.”

“But why now?” Jan demanded, in a nonplussed roar.

“How do we control them?” Zan’s voice trembled with fear.

“We’ll guide you,” Theron reassured. “You are now the Wonder Twins of Zorra.” The twins bowed humbly.

Then, behind the Sentinels, shadowy doppelgängers of Jayna and Zan emerged, eyes glinting with malevolence. “Your greatest enemy is within,” Theron warned. “Overcome yourselves, lest Zorra falls.”
