Billy was wild African Ass and he was ten years old when his herd was hunted down for their hide. He was found hiding in the tall African grass by Marry a wild Nombi Dessert Horse mare, who was the alpha mare. She nuzzled him and then she spoke.
"It will be alright little one, I was off in the distance and I saw everything. Those rotten eggplants, they are so rotten that Ben's wife the farmer that feed use hay and alfalfa could not make a good dish out of them." Marry said and that made Billy laugh
"Can, you be my new mother, I just lost my family and I am still learning how to find food and water?" Billy said as he cried
"Yes that is why I came over here, You are right about those hunters, they are rotten eggplants and no one can make a good meal out of them!" Billy said and they both laughed, Marry led Billy over to the herd and when he got up a branch hit him in the head and he shook his head and kept walking.
" Low bridge watch out! " Marry said and then she laughed.
"Hello, my name is Todd, sorry about your herd, I promise I will make you laugh, oh crap!" Todd said as he tripped on his hooves and fell and Billy laughed.
"See, I told you, this Max, Tricks, Tom, Mills, Patty, Pasty, Joe, Grass, Telly, Trisha, Holly, Molly, Fred, Joy, Joyce, Tiffany, Jenifer, Jewels, Dorthy, Dotty, Kelly, Kim, Francis, Jim, and Jessie." Todd said
"Well, let go every it is breakfast time, let go find something." Marry said and they all followed. They found wild eggplant and they ate one each and Todd just so happened to be to close to where Billy was eating and Billy lifted his and they had a meeting of the minds.
" Todd really any closer we would be kissing. Find another spot to eat." Billy yelled at Todd
"Sorry, I think I need to go to the eye doctor, I did not see you there." Todd said
"No, you just need to pull your head out of your butt and pay attention." Billy said.
"Yes, you are probably right, I need to pay attention, it would hurt less." Todd said
You, got that right, I think the herd has had their fill, our mother Marry is leading the hurt to water." Billy said and they followed the herd.
"What out for that branch, never mind." Todd said.
"That is going to leave a mark, ouch! do you have any aspirin?" Billy said
" I am all out of that and I need to go to the store for some more." Todd said.
" Smart ass, that hurt!" Billy said
"Hey, I am not smart ass I am a smart horse, you are the ass!" Todd said.
" hey, I resent that remark, watch it pal!" Billy said and started to pick on him and then Todd was playing along and they tripped on two Meerkat holes. They went into to the water hole. They got there and wen to get a drink and got stuck in to mud. Marry got a branch and pulled them out and shook her and everyone laughed at them. Then Ben came and started to talk to her.
" I see you have adopted some girl you sure have great looking herd and saw that. Are they two accident waiting to happen?" Ben said and came with a wheel barrel of hay and alfalfa. he sat it down and they all ate. I was lunchtime. Todd and Billy kept running into things and each other. However, they were inseparable. The End!

My Uncle is my Father
Hello, my name is Connie Goethe. I would like to tell you about my father. My birth father left before I was born, my Grandmother Dorthy and Uncle Cliff were there for my birth. My mother after I was out of the hospital, in Pocatello, Idaho. I was in there for 3 months, I was three month premature. My mother Hannah, could not afford the rent so she moved in with my Grandmother Dorthy and my Uncle Cliff he was trying to find customers, he was a carpenter and he had picked up work. My Grandmother was a nurse for Ivinson Memorial Hospital. While I was there as baby, I my uncle put me on his hand that I was the size of. He would be watch a football game and try not to wake me while he was watching a football game growing up was great. My and grandmother had moved to Craig, Colorado, after my Grandmother Dorthy had lost her job after drinking on the job. Because, she was taking care of a couple that had fell asleep with a cigarette in their mouth they did all that they could to save them. But they died on the table. My grandmother got a job as a waitress and my mother the post office. My uncle would always come to visit me and we would watch the Broncos play football. At the age of five the whole family and the neighborhood kids would play tag football. I would always take off walking and I would always be visiting the neighbor's dog Coca. I lived with my mother until I was molested at eight and was put into foster care and then my Aunt Carol and Uncle Cliff adopted me. They put through children's therapy. I was working along side my uncle who was now my father on my Aunt Johnny's ranch and she taught me that if you fall off a horse get back on a ride again. I fell off of Joe when I was gathering cattle for branding day. By the age of ten years old I had little brother that was cute as button and helped take care of him. Dirty Laundry
Daily arguing. Sure, stress, deadlines, piles of laundry, blah-blah-blah...these pose real opposition, but I cannot shirk responsibility for failing to get along with those whom I care for most. I refuse to villainize obstacles. Resistance and challenge is needed for growth. I want to welcome these challenges with grit and fortitude. How do I do that?
