An Unexpected Suspicious Package

Wrapped in Brown Paper

An Unexpected Suspicious Package

If it was expected, it wouldn’t be suspicious; if it was in a commercially-labeled box, it wouldn’t be unexpected, as the recipient did get a lot of incoming shipments - some even in wooden-crates - but none wrapped in plain brown paper.

Wrapped in Brown Paper

Concealed. The only reason to wrap something in brown paper is to conceal it. In this age of information overload and container-marketing, plain brown paper wrapping alone raised suspicion.

More Suspicion

The inside-out/other-side of the brown paper was US Currency – “prop-currency” - like the kind they use in movies – as only one side of printing Movie-Set-Money is allowed. But why? Why wrap a package that’s plain brown kraft-paper on one side and immaculately-printed green-back-style on the other?

Counterfeit

The problem was, was that it was too good – too much like real currency; currency-quality on one side and plain brown kraft-quality on the other. Were they “bonded” together? If so, with what (and did it matter)?

Serial Numbers

The Serial-Numbers on the US-Currency-side were actually script-codes – programming numbers used in mining the “all-new” crypto-currencies BittCoyne and Earthrium – where some whacker-hacker could implement and “forge” counterfeit-cryptocurrencies online (if one knew how).

Crimes Related to U.S. Currency

Fortunately, or unfortunately, cryptocurrency “forgery” is not covered under “US Currency” laws as they are not recognized as US Currency and must be “converted” or “exchanged” into US Currency for any US Currency laws to be implemented. Online whacker-hacker laws are covered under a different section of the US Code (U.S.C.), so, so-far, the Movie-Money was OK.

The Package

Forged Bittcoynes and Earthriums are not transported in packages but are cryptocurrencies on the internet. This being true meant that only the quasi-currency-side of the otherwise plain-brown wrapping-paper was the only thing that mattered (for the “codes” hidden as Serial-Numbers), whereby the package itself was a ruse and the inside of the container was irrelevant.

Blue Sky

However, what was a piece of Blue-Sky doing in the container, the box that the wrapping paper concealed? The container-box itself required wooden struts to contain the piece of Blue-Sky, but once opened, the Blue-Sky evaporated. Still more suspicion. Why contain a piece of Blue-Sky in a wooded-strutted container box only to have it “evaporate” once opened?

Homing Device

There was a homing-device tape-strip inside the container-box as well, with a GPS (Global Positioning System) locator that revealed where the delivery came from. While this explained the Blue-Sky – as homing devices are used in guided missiles, airplanes, and other aeronautic craft that aims the device towards its target - it still didn’t explain the Movie-Money Serial-Numbers.

The Address

But was it sent to the correct address? And if not, was the mis-direction intentional or incompetence? It would seem that the GPS/homing-device would have directed the package to its correct intended delivery-location, but then there’s always human error, if indeed a human delivered the Blue-Sky/empty box and not a drone or AI (Artificial Intelligence) driven vehicle.

Coincidence

Was it a coincidence that the recipient at the delivery-address did indeed know-of the crypto-currency hackability of the Bittcoyne/Earthrium through the use of the Movie-Money Serial-Numbers, or was it intended for another recipient-address?

Source

As the homing-device worked two-ways, finding the origin of the shipment would determine whether the intended recipient address GPS-coordinates were correct, or whether it was a mis-hap, mistake, or other mis-delivery-kerfuffle.

Jammed

The GPS tape-device was jammed and one was not able to discern the origin, so suspicion remained as to whether the recipient was the intended recipient or was a misguided target from the homing-device.

Resolution

As modern methods of delivery themselves remain in question, whether it was delivered by an AI-driven vehicle or by GPS-driven drone, the package itself remained a mystery, although the recipient was able to take advantage of the Movie-money wrapping paper – even though it was only plain brown kraft-paper on the outside.
