Alice and Abel were patient and still. They never let on what their intentions were.

They’d done this heist before, this time it started at the supermarket. They strategically placed themselves on a table next to a tiny stuffed pumpkin. It was the day after Halloween and our new owners couldn’t resist us standing on the clearance table.

The cashier smiled and admired the dolls outfits, with matching stockings. She turned them over a few times, looking for a price tag before declaring them $4.99 each, in frustration.

The couple thought they’d gotten a bargain. They wouldn’t live to regret this impulse buy. They laughed together while they decided on a name for them. Finally deciding on Wednesday and Thursday.

Quietly filled with disgust, they waited to extinguish them completely. Tonight would end their 21 day, living room stay. They had slowly devoured their life forces as they slept, while simultaneously fueling their fears until weakening them to their lowest vibration.

The djinns exposed their true forms. Darkness engulfed everything.

RUN!!!, she yelled!

The couple lay paralyzed, only able to call out inside their minds.

His eyes widened in terror as he realized their demise.

The soul heist was completed.
