Adventure Girl & The Broken Super Hero Place

In the beginning of it all when there wasn’t a star speckled on the dark dark deep. The Ruler of it all, The Redeeming One and The Guiding One who were in the Good Good Perfect Garden, said come forth Adventure Girl! Suddenly in the blink of an eye He made her to be. Every part of her being he made perfectly so. From her wandering feet up to her cutest of buttoned nose. He fashioned her smile to mirror the stars in the sky so that everyone who saw her would know that He is forever alive.

Before she left Him he whispered a promise to her. “No matter how hard the wind blows and the screeching things tell you that you are alone, I will be with you always and one day I will see you again and you will sit with me on my throne”. His eyes welled up with tears because his princess child was ready to be sent off. Even so before she took flight he gave a final warning. “Adventure girl you can wander all the earth but you mustn’t leave my sight, because your joy comes from the nearness to the sound of my voice. So listen for me always even when the world tells you that isn’t the wisest of choice.”

So Adventure Girl set off down the big slippery slide and made her debut to the world perfectly whole and right on wonderful time.

On the day she arrived she cried out “here I am!!” and smiled with all the stars in the sky. It didn’t take long for those around her to realize The Ruler had sent her off with some helpful gifts as He did them all. But we will talk about that later and how were all Super Heroes after all. Some of those gifts were to remember. Some of them to rejoice. Some of them had to be brought out from deep deep within. All of them placed precisely where they are to find her way back home again.

She loved to go on adventures from the day The Ruler said “See you again” but her truest gift was though she would often get lost she would always find her way back again.

Now not every gift was spectacled with special delight some seemed quite ordinary if you were to look at first sight. For example, Adventure Girl could take a nap anywhere without missing a single very important thing. She could nap under a tree in the morning and wake just to hear the birds sing. She could nap on a train and wake just to hear the conductor say now arriving at station 8. She could even nap in the middle of a lake and open her eyes just to catch the sunrise and be reminded The Ruler made a very beautiful day.

She was really really highly favored because The Ruler put the most loving family in charge of her care. He gave her specifically to Bright Angels because he knew and trusted His love would always be shining there. They lived in the Southern Middle Land a very beautiful place where the people were happy and had many colors of face but together all loved their beautiful Southern Middle Land Place. She went on Adventures with The Bright Angels sometimes to the shores of Negltana where she wore a magical lime green swimming suit. She cherished every memory with them especially if it included food.

She grew into the most beautiful women the universe ever knew. As if there was ever a doubt she needed to only walk into any room. But that wasn’t her crowning feature no it wasn’t important or even her very best. The crown that made her face glow was her kindness she showed to every kind of man. No matter what they had or lacked she treated them all with a special kindness that filled the cracks this Broken Place had made. Adventure Girl had compassion that could be seen from the highest of hills. I guess thats why The Ruler told her she needed to go The East Mountain Area and leave her beautiful Southern Middle Land Place.

Her light grew slightly dim leaving The Bright Angels who loved her so deep from within but she loved her adventures so much and trusted The Ruler to go wherever He is. She closed her eyes and followed His voice far far away until she landed in the southern part Of East Mountain Area and opened them again.

She needed to talk to The Ruler but suddenly she couldn’t find her phone. She had lost it again “Ga Eenah!” she cried “I will never know where to go!”

She sat on a rock to have herself a good pout. When she looked up and saw Redeeming Strangers who offered her some food but more importantly some help. They could see she was hungry her spirit was quite dim but they told her “We know The Ruler too! We have the same phone that dials directly to Him”.

They took her in and loved her almost similarly to how The Ruler always did. It made her wonder if this was apart of The Great Rescue Plan for us to find our way back to Him. She opened her heart to love these Redeeming Strangers who loved her like Him. They helped her light get brighter and dug out the gifts The Ruler placed within. She grew even more radiant than she had ever been. I guess thats when she caught the attention of certain Captain Awkward who was a Redeeming Stranger Leader but whose heart smiled like a kid.

Now Captain Awkward was a super hero of a different sort. Oh I didn’t tell you everyone in this world is a super hero? I guess it’s something that seems like we should already know. If you look around closely everyone has their own special cape. They even have a special talent that reminds them who they are. You see we were made in the image of The Ruler and He is the greatest super hero of them all. who rescued us when there was no hope but we will tell that story another time.

Captain Awkward has the ability to turn even the most common of situations and conversations into moments of awkwardness. He had no control over his gestures but has the power to overthink the most mundane of decisions. I guess that’s why The Ruler thought he needed some balance so he could also cook anything you desire. He also had the power to read people everyone he met just by examining their face but he was still also strange he even loved to clean his little awkward cave.

Now Captain Awkward really liked Adventure Girl deep deep within but he was so terribly awkward he didn’t know where to begin! He pondered and pondered until a poison called fear took over His limbs. He said “aha! I got it I will act like I don’t like her so this feeling disappears. I wont have to think if she will accept me and all of my awkward little fears. She could never say yes to lamest of super heroes without a cape besides what would all the people think in her Southern Middle Land place.”

So Adventure Girl and Captain Awkward would find each other like magnets in any room but instead of coming together they were a little bit cold and sometimes rude truth be told. They bounced off each other because they were turned and focused on showing the same fearful pole. They never quite understood why they crashed into each other as they did. One time Captain Awkward thought “I think The Ruler wants me to be with her” but quickly rejected that thought “naaah that isn’t it”.

This is the sad part of the story that is filled with shadows and doubt because these super heroes weren’t listening to The Rulers voice even when He shouts.

Adventure Girl had spent a whole year having adventures with The Redeeming Strangers crew! She went to Flower Cities named YongJu and climbed every mountain to try and get closer to The Rulers face. Every inch of his precious creation she so happily embraced. She had made bonds she never thought she could break and her light got ever brighter always showing in her face.

Captain Awkward was telling The East Mountain Area all about The Ruler and how much He loves you. He spent all of His time caring for the special Redeeming Strangers because that is what The Ruler told Him He must do.

They were both whole and satisfied not needing either one but there was this little meek voice that always spoke to Captain Awkward which He suspected was The Guiding One “My little super hero made in my image. Go pursue her she is the one”

Now remember his power to overthink every little bit. So he thought this to death and choked it with doubt until there was no hope left to live. Super Heroes cannot survive or even truly live if they don’t believe in what spoke them to exist. The reason we sometimes forget we wear capes is because this Broken Place tells us to wear masks instead of them. You quickly learn that broken super heroes like to break things. Even other Super Heroes until they feel good again.

Adventure Girl was also afraid but she just went on napping everywhere and even met some new Redeeming Stranger Sheep friends. They helped her like the Bright Angels did to dig out the gifts the Ruler had given inside and to keep her light shining even when it was night. Oh they were the very best of Sheep friends and they knew it was a bond The Ruler would never let end.

Now you must understand it was never meant to be this way. A world full of Super Heroes made in The Rulers image sometimes full of fear and shame. No, The Super Heroes were meant to be perfectly super just like Him but then everything fell apart in the beginning when they heard his voice but stopped listening and seeking His face. They listened to The Deceiver whose voice was nothing like The Rulers in fact the very sound of it sank their hearts into dismay. The echo of his devious laughter made them feel silly for wearing their capes so they traded in their Super Powers for just existing each and every day. In fact they sometimes even hide and made poor poor coverings for their shame.

You think this world would be completely helpless if it were left this way. But every Super Hero story has a white horse on the way. So does this world and the Super Heroes hope would that he would make it right again. One very special and soon day.

You see The Ruler was still merciful and great in compassion so He said I will come down and speak to you in person so you never forget who I am okay? In fact I will come as The Redeeming One and wash all the darkness away. I will shout so loud and Mae you feel so strong you will remember you wear a cape. Sorry there again we seemed to have went off track but we must know about The Ruler to understand Adventure Girls paths.

So you see why this story is more like a cake. Every person full of layers and every moment we desire to be sweet to taste. This is where Adventure Girl comes in to play. Adventure Girl was so kind that her love began to deflect all Captain Awkward’s doubt. No matter what He said she seemed to say “God will figure it out”. She was patient and kind and it overwhelmed His fear until He remembered The Rulers meek voice and He finally decided He will pursue that Adventure Girl if The Ruler continues to make that clear. He will keep talking to Him on the phone and reminding His heart what The Ruler said until the doubt disappears.

Here is where the magic takes over our tale you see something started to happen that was the opposite of fail! They remembered they always had phones that talk directly to The Ruler you see. They realized we've been so silly to think they were lost or misplaced! Let’s just call Him together and see what He wants to be. Strange things started to happen they no longer were rude or pushed each other away.

In fact they turned opposite each other pursuing The Ruler but they attracted then in the strongest way. He began to answer their calls right and left almost every moment of every day. It made them want to call every day! And when they looked at each other they were reminded of how The Ruler looked at them when they were not yet in this Sad Broken Super Hero Place.

Now Adventure Girl naturally wanted to drag Captain Awkward on adventures and pull him out of his little awkward cave but it took some strength because thats where he wanted to stay. He was very precise and didn’t like a-lot of change she loved wandering about and marveling at all The Ruler made to be. They began fall in love with The Ruler the more they talked to Him on their phones and when they did it together a special thing happened, their faces began to glow.

Suddenly, they began to get so bright they light up every single place they would go! They began talking about how good The Ruler is they wanted everyone to know! How could they find a treasure of infinite worth and keep it all to themselves no they knew that kind of love wouldn’t work.

They began to see that together they made the best super hero team. He was just awkward enough for her to be at peace and she was adventurous and kind so he didn’t have to think...as much. Or worry for that matter! She showed him how to embrace this Sad Broken Super Hero place because The Ruler had promised it will not always be this way. But he needed them to join forces and spread this like wild fire because the war against the screeching things was waging and they only wanted darkness and doubt.

He needed them to come together and shine as hard as they can and launch sparklers of hope into the enemies dark dark camp. He needed them to step out of the boat and walk on water not just to stand, and to always trust He will really really reach out His powerful super hero hand. This is was the reason they were made and The Ruler placed them in this Broken Super Hero place. They needed to reflect how good He still is and show the other super heroes that it wont always be this way.

They needed to stare down the screeching things and remind them one day The Ruler will throw them forever back into the Deep Deep Dark Hot place so they will bruise their face and not be afraid of the naughty lies they have to say. You see everyday when their hearts were satisfied it reminded them why they were alive. Then with every ray of light The Rulers broken Super Hero world was being repaired through the Great Great Love of His son The Redeeming One and the throne was closer in sight.

As you can probably guess this is a team The Deceiver didn’t want to join forces. He would send His best screeching ones as he saw their satisfaction and joy rise. He desired meaningless conflict, arguments and fights because as long as they were at bay they could not tell a soul that The Redeeming One saves and is forever alive. So Adventure Girl and Captain Awkward held hands and walked straight into battle but The Ruler gave them All Of The Armor in His Super Hero Kingdom and of course they always had their phones in case they ever needed to speak to Him. They hearts were calm in unafraid not because they were brave but they trusted in the one who gave them their names.

Sometimes the super heroes in this Broken Super Hero place work better in teams. Sometimes there are some super heroes who adventure alone. Some look different in their face. Some come from different types of homes. Some of them had scars and some of them were whole. Some of them had pain behind the masks this world told them to wear. Some of them even gave up and were very very sad. But here is one thing that you should especially know. You are never unloved and you are never alone.

Despite what you believe every Super Heroes here has a heart capable to love so hard that it sets you free. But if you ever seen an attic that dark place at the top top of a house. You know that sometimes we can leave things in places until they start to collect dust. We forget them until life has us wander back to where we used to be. We dust them off and remember that we all once had dreams. My hope is that you reading this will see that whatever you’re going through will not always be so. And that cape you forgot will one day once again start to glow. In fact it will be so bright and so loud that it will let others know its okay to take theirs back out.

Sometimes we all forget to dream but not Adventure Girl and Captain Awkward and certainly not you because I know that you’re remembering who you are right now even as you read.
