Marlowe Bender always received the task of shoveling snow near their home, and it was usually done with a smile on her face, though the last part was always according to her husband, James Bender. In actuality, this was James' task, but Marlowe couldn't remember the last time James actually did the task--or any actual work.

However, for this moment, Marlowe was actually smiling while shoveling snow, and in this occasion, it was quite a long job for her. She was not only doing the original task, she was doing it at night, under the cover of darkness. The reason for her timing and her happiness mainly had to do with what she was covering up, or rather, who.

"Hello, Jessica."

Marlowe greeted her neighbor, Jessica Jankow, who was dead and buried in the snowy hole she dug up. She would not be alone, as Marlowe dropped another body inside: her own husband, James. Marlowe still remembered James claiming to be too exhausted to shovel snow or do anything, yet as she witnessed, James saved his energy for two things: one, his beloved Minnesota Vikings, and two, Jessica. In fact, when Marlowe caught Jessica and James making out with each other, they were watching the Vikings game together that Sunday afternoon. Marlowe gazed at both bodies with sadistic fondness, with her sinister smile due to her reminiscing the moment she stabbed her husband and his mistress to death.

"There you go," said Marlowe. "Now you can reunite in Hell together."
