A single eаr of grаin

#Tale

By Margarita FaithPublished about a year ago 1 min read

Once upon a time, there was a mother and her child who went to the fields to work. Considering it was a long time ago, things were quite different. Birds had three pairs of wings, trees had three trunks, and even wheat had multiple ears of grain.

As they were walking, the child needed to use the bathroom. On their way, they enjoyed the nightingale's song and watched the rabbits tending to their little ones. With no one around them, the child, following his mother's advice, decided to relieve himself in the wheat field. He then wiped himself with the ears of wheat, pulling them out from bottom to top, leaving only one ear of wheat standing, as we see it today.

God saw this foolish act and gathered rain and thunder above them. He said, "If you do not appreciate what you have, you will be left with what you have left: just one ear of wheat instead of many."

Moral
