My name is Elyana Rose. I am the oldest of three, but sadly I am the last of my tribe. My village was invaded just over a year ago, but I managed to escape into a nearby forest and I’ve lived in that forest alone ever since. I don’t necessarily like visiting towns, but I don’t really hate it either. I just prefer to be out in the wilderness. I’m twenty-one years old, and most people in my village were viewed as adults at the age of sixteen, which was the age my youngest brother was when I found him behind the house with a dagger in his stomach. I felt bad for leaving my village, but I was raised to believe that nature allows the strong to thrive and only the weak perish. Of course, I strive to make sure their names become legend, but I guess nature thought I was the only one strong enough to do it. Living in the wild has taught me to respect nature and I believe that nature is more important than the civilizations built that destroy it. I once read about a region called Solaria where nature is held to such a high regard. I really want to visit there one day, which is why I decided that I wanted to start an adventure. Solaria is just across the ocean and doesn’t seem like much of an adventure, so I’ve decided I want to make it a point to eventually travel to every region.

I currently live in a small forest that I have learned is located between two cities called Protekaville and Vacaria with Stownfall Camp near where my old village was. There’s a dock just outside of Protekaville, but I would need to find a boat to sail to Solaria. I’ve decided that I’m going to start my journey tomorrow morning. I can get all of my belongings together tonight and find more of what I may need along the way to Protekaville. Hopefully, I’ll be able to buy a boat when I get there.

With my entire family gone, I've had to learn how to survive completely on my own. Most of the gold I have were from my days with my tribe when I would take jobs patrolling nearby forests. I saved my gold and survived on nature alone. I've tried to stay away from other towns in case someone would recognize me from the attack, but I'm hoping that I've been in hiding long enough for everyone to have forgotten. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

It's been a long year out in the wilderness alone. I'm not sure how ready I am to engage in contact with other humans again. I was never very good at talking to the others in my tribe and I mainly kept to myself, but there were always people around me. I was never truly alone until my village was attacked. I'm afraid that I'm going to say or do the wrong thing, but I plan to write down my adventures, so if I die, my life and the life of my tribe can at least somewhat documented.

It's scary being the last of my tribe, but it’s also what keeps me going. I need to share their legacy. I miss my tribe dearly, but that’s exactly why I need to do this. Me losing my entire tribe at once was just the beginning of my adventures. It forced me to learn how to survive by myself on nothing but nature. It may have only been a year on my own, but I have learned so many skills to help me. I’ll continue to grow my skills and use them along my adventures. I’ve got a long road ahead of me, but I’m ready to start the rest of my life.
