"La la la la, la la la la!" A crisp song reached the ears of the villagers in the animal village. The little rabbit pricked up his ears, the little monkey who was baking bread poked his head out, and a flock of birds flew up to the eaves.

Oh! It was the panda, Fatty, whom everyone loves! He was taking a leisurely walk. Suddenly, Chubby's best friend Lanlan the parrot flew in, and her colorful feathers made everyone's eyes shine. Her graceful dance was even more surprising to everyone. When Lan Lan finished dancing, thunderous applause rang out. But except for Fatty, who stood there dumbfounded. Lan Lan smiled, shook her feathers, and flew away in triumph.

Chubby continued to walk, and as he did so, he thought: "My good friend Lan Lan has a colored feather, so why don't I have a colored feather? He searched carefully in his thick fur to see if he had any colored feathers. After searching for a while, he still couldn't find a single colored hair. He sighed and muttered, "Even if I only had a handful, just a handful of colored hairs, how good it would be!" Chubby's footsteps were no longer so cheerful, and he took a slow walk with heavy footsteps.

Suddenly, Chubby kicked a box of something, and when he looked down, it was a box of paints with several colors in it! Chubby looked around to make sure no one was peeking. He hurriedly picked up the box of paints and ran home as fast as he could. Chubby started to think: "When I become colorful, everyone will envy me, and maybe I will even become a panda star!" He didn't look good on the road, tripping over rocks and branches many times, and pretending not to hear even the little birds greeting him. At this time, Chubby's heart and eyes were full of the colorful fur that was about to turn, so he couldn't hear or see anything else! He just stumbled back home.

In the evening, Chubby carefully applied the colorful paint to his body. He painted slowly, not missing a single hair. After a long time, he finally dyed himself into a colorful one. He said complacently: "Tomorrow everyone will ......" before he finished speaking, he went to dreamland. In the dream, Chubby became a little star! Everyone gathered around him all day long, praising him, and Fatty then showed a smile.

The next morning, Chubby got up early. He carefully groomed and groomed. A moment to comb the hair, a moment to spray perfume, but also incidentally tied a large bow around his neck, so that he looks radiant. Chubby strutted down the street, he was expecting the adoring eyes of everyone.

A little rabbit saw the scene and was so frightened that his face turned white, his whole body shivered, his fur stood up, and he shouted, "The monster is coming! The monster is coming!" The little rabbit ran away without looking back. The little monkey saw it and climbed to the top of the tree. The little cat who was eating fish saw it and was so frightened that the little cat dropped all the fish and scurried into the grass with a whoosh.

Fatty seemed to hear the sound of his heart breaking. A bunch of questions popped up in his mind: Why did everyone run away? Why am I not as popular as Lan Lan when I am colored? Everyone used to love me! He repeatedly pondered these questions. But he couldn't figure it out.

He went to the river with his head down. The sound of the river and the chirping of the birds made him feel a little better. You know how disappointed and sad he was! Chubby took a look at himself in the river water and saw a big round ball painted in color. "Oops! Is this me? Why do I look like this?" He shouted in panic. Even he was taken aback! Because Chubby was too scared, he accidentally fell into the water with a thud. The water splashed everywhere.

The cold river water washed away all the paint on Chubby's body and reflected a naive panda in the water. At that moment, Lan Lan flew in, shaking her feathers and shouting at Chubby, "You Chubby! How dare you paint yourself in color to scare everyone!" Chubby hurriedly got up and climbed to the shore and shook the water from himself, he scratched his head and said embarrassingly, "I just wanted to have a colored coat." Chubby told Lanlan everything. Lan Lan listened but laughed out loud. "You silly chubby! Everyone has their characteristics, I have a colored feather not for showing off, but for self-protection. Aren't you originally looking quite cute, why do you need to paint yourself in color?" Lan Lan finished speaking and flew away gracefully.

Chubby stood there quietly. He repeatedly thought about Lan Lan's words and smiled happily when he thought about the usual scenes of playing happily with his partners. "Yes! To be yourself." Chubby lay down, and the soft grass made him feel comfortable. It was already afternoon, the sky appeared with a few fiery clouds, and the sun shone on him warmly, as if to give him a layer of golden light.
