In a village, there lived a boy named Jovie. Jovie was adopted by a kind woman named Mrs. Merry. She raised him with love and care, and Jovie loved her very much.

One cold autumn evening, as the leaves danced in the breeze, Jovie sat by the fire with Mrs. Merry, listening to her stories about the stars. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Then Mrs. Merry's expression changed, and she whispered something to Jovie before hurrying to answer the door.

Jovie's heart was racing as he strained to hear the conversation at the door. When Madame Merry returned, her eyes were teary, and she told Jovie that she had to leave for a while, but promised to return soon. With a heavy heart, Jovie watched Madame Merry disappear into the night.

Days passed but Mrs. Merry never returned. Jovie felt lost and abandoned, unable to understand why his beloved foster mother left him. He wandered the streets, looking for her, his confusion turning to sadness and then to anger.

As time passed, Jovie found solace in the kindness of the strangers who took him in and cared for him. But the memory of Madame Merry lingers, always reminding her of the confusion and heartache she has endured. And though she never fully understands why Madame Merry left, Jovie learns to find happiness and love in the arms of those who truly care for her.
