A Bedtime Comedy
Sharing my embarrassing yet funny experiences!

Although I was running, my heart was racing, and I couldn’t stop looking over my shoulder in case someone was following me. It got so stressful that I started sweating on my face.
The beating of my heart made my chest feel like it would burst. Turning around to see who was following me was too scary. There was gunfire in the area, which made it sound like this guy was armed. I was scared and ran as fast as possible to escape danger.
While running so fast, my energy level was drained, and eventually, I fell off my bed. I bruised my arms and legs on the floor from falling. I returned to my senses and realized I had dropped like a child. Oh no (is anyone looking at me? No, all are sleeping). It was strange because I was 28 and had never jumped and fallen out of bed since I was a kid (or at least that’s what my mom told me).
Upon awakening, I felt extremely uneasy and ashamed. It was now officially winter, and the floor was frozen. I should have remained calm, but I scolded my husband and son for taking up all the bed space. Like I often do when I’m angry.
Instead of staying quiet, I got angry at my husband and son, who slept comfortably on the bed. I blamed them for not leaving enough space for me, and I cried.
The next night, they made a big room for me to avoid falling again (or maybe from getting blamed). But guess what? I fell once more. I accused them again, saying they made me used to sleep like that. After some days, my hubby took a picture of mine when I was asleep (alone taking a nap) in an extreme corner (to prove it).
Has anyone else fallen out of bed in a dream or real life? Is it embarrassing and confusing at the time but funny later on? What do you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts and if you’ve ever had a similar experience.

Hahahahaha I really enjoyed it
Thank goodness I haven't fallen out of the bed...I might not be able to get up after that!
I have fallen out of bed many times, fun story
Hahahaha I really enjoyed it...
Thrill and humour combine in a splendid way, I am loving your story.
Haha yes there was a time when I was falling out of the bed, after moving to a new place.
I fall out of bed occasionally but mostly I sleep walk and end up in weird places
Falling out of bed because of a nightmare? Yeah that happens to people. More people tend to roll out of bed than anything. Don't eat anything that'll cause tummy trouble before You need to go to sleep, that should help for calmer dreams. Well, that and why not try sleeping on the floor? Floors can be comfy.
😂...I enjoyed the details.
Although I’ve never fallen out of bed, I have gotten up to write in the middle of the night and, upon returning to bed, found my husband had moved over to my side of the bed (looking for me), leaving me no room whatsoever. 🤣
Love the way you shifted from fear to embarrassment to humor, it added an interesting layer to the story. With the use of detailed descriptions and introspective moments the reader emphasizes with your experience. It kept me engaged and curious to see how the story unfolds.
I fell down from bed yesterday and my knee hurt badly 😂😂😂
