You would have seen glass windows, metal windows, and wooden windows in homes or in offices. I know we mainly focus on doors, ceilings, and other things to decorate our homes when we buy a house or personally construct it but windows are also important and you can choose different types of windows for different places. 1) Double-hung Windows
These are the most common types of windows that we generally see in everybody’s home. If your pocket is limited and can not spend much then you can also go for this. In this type of window, there are two sashes that slide up and down.
2) Casement Windows

These are good editions to our living rooms or kitchens because it gives a mesmerizing outside view. If your home is near a lake, river, or sea facing then you should have a window to enjoy the view in its entirety. These windows protrude from an exterior wall and create a small shall type in the room. There is no doubt in this that it costs more than normal windows. 6) Floor-to-ceiling Windows
These windows are big in size and sometimes work as a door as well. It allows more light and air in the home. People prefer to keep it in the drawing room. You may hang a curtain or drapes on it to control the sunlight. These are so expensive to fix so if you have a good budget then you can go for it.
7) Garden Window
As the name itself suggests, these windows are like a bay window type. you can keep plants and herbs on the mini shelves of this window so they would be exposed to the sunlight. If you have limited space in the city and you want a garden then you can go for it. You can make install them at any place of your choice.
