The Bear and the Honey
By Faramarz Parsa

Once upon a time, there was a bear who lived in the forest.
He loved honey—oh, how much he loved it!
He always hid his jars of honey under his bed so no one could find them.
And whenever he left home, he made sure to lock every door and window tightly—just to make sure no one would eat his honey!
One day, the bear decided to go out and look for fresh honey.

As he happily wandered through the woods, he met a cow.
— “Hello, Mr. Cow! Where are you going in such a hurry?”
— “Hello, Mr. Bear! I’m going to eat some food.”
The bear suddenly got worried and asked suspiciously,
— “You’re not going to eat my honey, are you?”
🐮 The cow laughed, “Moooo… moooo… Cows don’t eat honey, cows eat grass!”

The bear smiled in relief and continued on his way until he met a donkey.
— “Hello, Mr. Donkey! Where are you going in such a hurry?”
— “Hello, Mr. Bear! I’m going to eat some food.”
The bear panicked again. Maybe the donkey was going to eat his honey!
So he asked,
— “You’re not going to eat my honey, are you?”
🐴 The donkey brayed and said, “Hee-haw! Hee-haw! Donkeys don’t eat honey, donkeys eat hay!”

The bear took a deep breath and kept walking, until he came across a snake.
— “Hello, Mr. Snake! Where are you going in such a hurry?”
— “I’m going to eat some food,” hissed the snake.
The bear thought, Oh no, the snake must be after my honey!
So he asked,
— “You’re not going to eat my honey, are you?”
🐍 The snake hissed, “Sssss… sssss… Snakes don’t eat honey, snakes eat grasshoppers!”

The bear smiled with joy and walked farther, until he met a rooster.
— “Hello, Mr. Rooster! Where are you going in such a hurry?”
— “I’m going to eat some food!” said the rooster proudly.
The bear asked suspiciously,
— “You’re not going to eat my honey, are you?”
🐓 The rooster crowed, “Cock-a-doodle-doo! Roosters don’t eat honey, roosters eat seeds!”

The bear smiled happily and said,
“Good! Then no one will eat my honey!”
And he went on his way, humming a song,
dreaming of finding a big pot of golden honey.

🌼 Dear children,
Every animal loves its own kind of food—
just like we all have our own favorite tastes and treats!

The Playful Little Bear
Written by Faramarz Parsa

One sunny day, Little Bear was walking in the forest with his mother.
When he saw some beautiful, colorful butterflies, he ran after them, laughing and playing.

But soon, he noticed something strange —
he couldn’t see his mother anywhere!
No matter which way he went,
he always came back to the same place.

He sat down beside a big old tree, looked up at the sky, and said,
“Oh dear God, please help me find my mom.
I promise I won’t be playful and careless again.
I’ll always listen to my mother.”

Tired and sad, Little Bear fell asleep under the tree.

When he opened his eyes,
he was back in his bed!
His mother was sitting beside him, holding his paw.
Full of joy, Little Bear hugged her tightly and said,
“I promise I’ll never be naughty again!”
His mother smiled and hugged him close.
