Jam ia take things for granted, she is never thankful until she got her locket taken away. She needs to open our eyes and realize how blessed she is. When she do not have that one thing that she love she feels lost. Her Mother gave her that locket when she was sick Jamia felt a banded when her mother died.

That locket was the only thing Jamia had of her mother. She realized how much it meant to her. The locket made Jamia feel her mother when nobody else was with her. She have been crying none stop over that locket because it's so special to her. Linda Jamia's mother bestfriend found the locket in the hair store on the floor by the lip-gloss.

She knew who it belonged to, but she wanted to see if Jamia really wanted the locket back. two days later Jamia posted a video talking about how much her locket meant to her. The video was posted on Facebook, tik tok, and Instagram.

Linda showed up to her house two hours later. When Jamia saw the locket in Mrs. Linda's hand she started crying with tears of joy. She would've never thought her mother's bestfriend would find it. Linda didn't trust Jamia yet because she was carless with the locket.

Jamia knew this was going to happen, Jamia carefully said "I know I have been selfish and careless with everything I get, but I have changed over the days." " How can I trust you with this locket, when did you realize your locket was gone?" asked Mrs. Linda

" You can trust me because it's apart of me now and my life isn't the same without that locket. When it was gone my happiness went away and I started to pray to God because I knew something was wrong, when I felt my chest the minute I stared crying I posted the video" Jamia replied.

Mrs. Linda believed Jamia, but it was just that thing about her that was missing. Jamia started going into deep thought and said " My mother was my best friend and my day maker, when she gave me that locket before she died she smiled and put it in my hand, I will never forget that smile, so when I look at that locket I fell happy again because it reminds me of my mother and I know she is with me every step of the way.

Linda had to give Jamia the locket after that because she finally expressed how she feel about her locked and she knew she was serious about that because she will never play about her mother.

Jamia never felt so thankful for something ever in her life.

Now that she has to locket she will never take that special thing for granted. she learned that it will be taken away from her in a hear beat. Ever since then Jamia is thankful for everything she gets.

Jamia looked back over her life and actually realized how selfish she has been, when her auntie came to see her a few weeks ago she was disrespectful to her aunt Lena. Mrs. Lena just wanted to take her on a shopping spree, but Jamia ran her away with the hateful words .

Jamia said " you just want to take me shopping because you feel guilty, you never checked on me after my mother died. I needed you and you just thought about yourself and not me. I never want to hear from you again."

After Jamia got her locket back she had to apologize to her favorite aunt.

She called aunt Lena and kindly said" I know I was a brat when you came to see me, but I am deeply sorry for how I came at you. We have been through so much and I should have never turned my back on you when you tried to cheer me up. I have changed over the months and when I lost the locket I realized and opened my eyes to see how blessed I am."

Aunt Lena forgave her and took her shopping.

Jamia learned her lesson about taking things for granted and ever since her life has been better.
