I have mentioned before that I have stereotyped pageant life. I thought it to be stressful, and I’d have to watch for bullying towards my kid. I thought I would see parents drilling their daughters in perfection, or giving the stink eye to other contestants. I thought I would see girls with fake smiles plastered on their faces but misery in their eyes.
