Sundae Girl
"No, it wasn't like that," she repeats quietly. He doesn't even seem to notice that she has spoken as he leans against the back of the booth, spreading his arms wide across the top of the padded vinyl with a self-satisfied sigh. Supremely confident that his version of events is the only correct one.

Jimmy Sleeps
It was the middle of the night Jimmy lay in bed, everywhere was quiet except for the gentle snore coming from mommy's room. He knew if he told her in the morning that he could hear her snore, she would smile and say, "I don't snore baby. That's the cat purring you can hear," and then she will laugh and walk away. Only they both knew that Felix did not snore at all, or purr at night, for Felix was the quietest of cats you could possibly know he only cried when he was hungry. The rest of the time he was so silent you wouldn't know he was there.

The Start of a Family
If there is anything more strange to many people it is when a member of the LGBT+ community decides to have a family. Particularly someone transgender. Being a transgender male in a relationship with another individual that is also AFAB [Assigned Female at Birth] has its perks. We get to decide when we want to start a family on our own terms. Which means we can more accurately predict when we have managed to concieve. It's a perk, but it has its own downfalls at the same time. We have to rely on a donor. Finding a donor is complicated. If you do not go through a clinic you have to do things at home which means either going somewhere to buy a donation or find a website that has listed donors.

The Sunset Chaser
The world is quiet. The streets are empty, and the world is constricted with silent tension. Each morning we awake with news on the current spread of the virus, and each evening we go to sleep, with images of new stories and data sheets and charts dancing around in our heads. The world is silent outside of our doors, and we do what we can to be okay every day, both physically and mentally.
