SO PROUD OF MY NIECE
I have so many women I can write about, like my mother, my grandmother and my sisters. They are all wonderful women who worked hard while raising families. I learned so much from each and every one of them. But I decided to write about my niece. She was always a leader from the time she learned to talk! She is my first niece, who was born when I was only 12 years old so I consider her more like a little sister. She took so many of my clothes from my closet when I was away at college she definitely qualifies as a little sister!

Lessons Lasting a Lifetime
Lessons Lasting a Lifetime Mothers teach us so much in life and this is what my mother taught me. My mom has taught me a lot in my days. Some good things and some bad. No matter what they were, they were good lessons that have shaped me into the person I am today. My mother raised my sister and me ever since we were fetuses. My mom and dad got a divorce when I was in the 1st grade, so my mother became a single mom. She is strong and powerful and managed to do so many things. She worked and still works three jobs to keep my sister and me in private school, so we can have the best education! One day I hope I can be a great parent like she is and I hope I can teach the wonderful life lessons she taught me to my children if I have children. Moms are awesome and I’m glad I have mine in my life.

My Mama can Beat up Your Mama
MY MOM CAN BEAT UP YOUR MOM Well, not really. I just wanted to catch your attention and get you to read about my mother. In fact she would be horrified to see my title because it is so far afield and such a mischaracterization of her. I should be ashamed of myself, but I’m not. And that’s her fault. She taught me to not be ashamed or afraid to act on my ideas.

AUNT FOREVER
An aunt is the female sibling of a mother or father, however being aware of what an aunt truly is and what her role is are two very different things. American culture, which tends to put the nuclear family at its core, leaves the duties of an aunt quite undefined. However, within more collective cultures, like Hispanic and Asian cultures, the aunt's role is much more demanding and defined. Irrespective of cultural differences and norms, there are a number of crucial things any aunt ought to be prepared to do.
