GET THE BREAD
GET THE BREAD White or rye? † † † I just celebrated my sixth birthday. As always, my moods fluctuated between quiet and rambunctious. I loved to read and could still for hours as long as the story amused me. Once I felt I no longer wanted to read, I wouldn’t think twice about tossing the book on the chair and running around the apartment teasing my brother – or sometimes, more often than not, just getting underfoot. With the exception of reading, I hated being still. My brother, being two years older, much to my parents’ dismay, always encouraged my animation.

Falling into freedom: Overcoming Fear and Gaining Confidence on Two Wheels
As a young child growing up in a small village, I was eager to learn how to ride a bicycle. Many of my friends had already started going on errands with their bicycles, and I longed to join them. Whenever our family bicycle was not in use, my elder brother would guide me in my attempts to learn how to ride.

TELL THE GIRL
Recently I came across a video on Facebook, where a lady brings her children to her mom, saying she's tired of taking care of them and doesn't want them anymore. The situation was chaotic as the lady and her mom were both yelling at each other because the mom refused to accept the children on the grounds that it was wrong of her to do such a thing. the mom further reminded her about how she struggled to train her and her siblings as a single mom and that she was not ready to go through that process again especially for another person's child knowing that their mother is capable of the responsibilities. Despite the mom's efforts to make her daughter take back her children who by the way are no longer toddlers and were standing, helplessly watching as the drama was playing out. I could only imagine the thoughts in their minds seeing and hearing their mom say the things she was saying all because of them. Apparently, their mom is also a single mom and wanted to do away with them just because she met a younger lover who just wants to travel around the world and enjoy life with her and for her, the only thing standing in her way is the children she has to take care of and so she came up with the idea of dumping them for her mother for as long as it takes.

Halloween Memories
I was the youngest of four children, and it was safe when trick or treating. We had boundaries (and generally went further). There were a couple of apartment buildings, but it was mostly houses. We all knew where the best candy was. It was before crazy people put razor blades into candy or drugs or anything to cause harm.

THE HALLOWEEN BABY
Once upon a chilling Halloween night, in the quaint town of Willowbrook, the moon hung low in the inky sky, casting an eerie glow over the streets. The townsfolk had prepared for weeks, adorning their houses with ghoulish decorations, setting out bowls of candy for the trick-or-treaters, and donning costumes ranging from ghosts to goblins.

MOTHERHOOD BIRTHS A PURPOSEFUL LIFE
Growing up as a girl child, I never for once imagined how it would be to be a Mother I watched how my parents tried to give us the best they could and how they were willing to sacrifice their comfort for our sake. I saw my mom struggle to take of us even when she was sick and could barely do much and I still couldn't understand anything all I knew was that they were responsible for us and doing what they could to live up to their responsibilities but then again I asked my If She is really happy playing that role.
