Why We Need Substitute Grandparents. Top Story - January 2024.
I don’t know if it takes a whole village to raise a child, but it takes more than just the parents. If we’re fortunate, as we grow, we’re guided by a rich network of adults who look out for us and help us along the way—relatives, teachers, coaches, youth leaders, and others. We need a whole tribe to look out for us, to guide us on our way.

CHEETAH
This recent article discusses conservation efforts of the cheetah as a key wildlife species and how technology and environmental awareness can contribute to achieving this. The text addresses the challenges facing the cheetah and the innovative solutions that can be adopted to preserve this wonderful creature. The title revolves around the opportunities for joint action between humans and technology in achieving environmental balance and preserving wildlife diversity. The cheetah is a mammal from the feline family, distinguished by its graceful body and strong muscles, and it is one of the most famous predators in the world. Cheetahs are distributed throughout the world and are part of the biodiversity that enriches ecosystems. In this text, we will highlight some important aspects about this wonderful organism. The cheetah is distinguished by the beauty of its natural design, as it has short fur with a unique pattern that mixes dark spots with a light background. This pattern plays an important role in concealing the cheetah while hunting. The cheetah has a round, strong body, a large head with round ears, and sharp jaws that enable it to cut its prey easily. The cheetah is a nocturnal animal, and relies heavily on its keen sense of sight and keen hearing to search for prey. The cheetah lives in small groups or is solitary, and is characterized by its loneliness and rapid movement, which makes it an effective hunter. The cheetah feeds mainly on small animals such as deer and oryx, but it may attack its prey with great skill even if it is larger than it. Cheetahs have unique hunting skills, as they can approach completely silently and pounce on their prey with great effectiveness. The cheetah sometimes uses a method known as "silent waiting", where it assumes a strategic position and then attacks with great effectiveness, making it one of the most effective creatures in hunting operations. The cheetah is distinguished by its tremendous strength and great speed, as it can accelerate quickly to chase prey. The cheetah also benefits from its long tail, which helps it maintain its balance while running and jumping.

"Zeltron"
In the year 2024, on an ordinary day among human days, a spacecraft flew into the skies of Earth, and from it an alien creature called Zeltron descended. His skin was shiny and light blue in color, and he had large eyes that sparkled with a light green color. He was out of step with everyday life on earth, but he smiled and greeted the humans who gathered around him in a friendly way. Zeltron settled in a small city called "New Haven", where it took some time for humans to get over the initial shock. Zeltron collaborated with terrestrial scientists and researchers to understand human culture and share knowledge about life technologies and technology. The story of Zeltron and his tour of Earth became the talk of the town. Zeltron amazed humans with his superhuman abilities, using his special powers to help solve environmental and medical problems. Over time, Zeltron became friends with humans and was considered part of society. But not everything was stable, as strange phenomena began to occur around Zeltron. A mysterious light appeared around his body at times, and he felt somewhat uneasy. Scientists discovered that this phenomenon was a result of the energy difference between his world and Earth's world, and he needed more adaptation to survive here. Things got worse when Zeltron began to lose his ability to return to his home world. He began to feel weak and fading, and his alien powers began to decline. Humanity rallied to help find a solution, and worked hard with Zeltron to understand how to enhance his powers. Eventually, it was discovered that pure water was the key to helping replenish his energy. They began developing technologies to improve the concentration of water and use it to support Zeltron life on Earth. Over time, his energy returned and he began to regain his strength. However, Zeltron did not want to leave Earth, he wanted to continue sharing his life with humans. Zeltron became a symbol of interoperability and mutual understanding between the two worlds, and its story was written in the pages of history as a symbol of tolerance and hope.

Everything stops for Tea
It’s a bright and clear summer’s day, the sun is making its entrance to the day. In the Close Meadow, all the preparations for the day have been finalised, and William has made sure his traction engine is fully steamed up. In Highgate House, he rises from the bed he shares with his wife, Louisa. He goes across to the window, in his nightshirt, and looks out over the garden, waking up into the bright new day. He can hear Louisa stirring, and turns to look at her, “Good morning, Louisa, my dear. Did you sleep well?”.
