Outhouse Gauntlet
When I was little, we spent every June visiting relatives in Kentucky. All their little houses were clustered on one sprawling piece of verdant land called Green’s Valley. It had been the site of the general store owned by my great-grandpa, Les Green. My grandpa was the oldest of Les’s thirteen children. Half a dozen of them never left the lush acreage.

Safety in the Savanna
“I know you liked George and Stephanie, but your new house is going to be wonderful! They have a little girl just your age and a beautiful backyard with a tree house and everything. You’ll be able to have so many adventures.” Miss Sandy tried to reassure Amelia, but the young girl recognized the familiar look of pity and doubt on her social worker’s face. As the two drove away from the little blue house on Spring Rose Drive, Amelia beat herself up for thinking this time was going to be different. Sandy looked back at the girl and listened as she lamented on the loss. “She called me Mia and told me she was going to be my mama, but this morning she told me that since George is sick she can’t be my mama anymore.”

Out Of The Mouth Of Babes
My son Tyler was a funny kid. At about two, he already had a rather expansive vocabulary and could verbalize his thoughts and feelings pretty well, I thought, for his age. He would often put words he had just learned in new and strange combinations to see how it would work out, often on-the-fly.

My Rainbow Baby, My Son
I never thought I would be saying the words “my son”. I had finally gotten used to the idea that my daughter would be the only child I would ever have biologically. We were surprised when we found out that almost two years after an ectopic pregnancy, my fiancé and I were expecting. We were overcome with joy, when we found out we would be having a boy. I had always wanted a son, although any gender would have been okay with me. All I wanted was the baby!

Our children
When you bring a child into your life it’s the most beautiful blessing you can get. You see them grow and experience their milestones with them. Their smiles and laughs are the most beautiful things that can brighten up your world even more. They are so innocent in these stages and beautiful.

5 best short moral stories for kids
Tales that will inspire you by teaching important lessons of your life 1. Ants and worm Once, while an ant was searching for its food, she saw a worm coming out of a cocoon. He was slowly moving his legs out of the box. Seeing that, the ant said, ‘Oh, what is your condition? I can walk wherever I want. But you have to spend days in this cell. So there is a big gap between you and me. 'The worm said nothing. A few days later, when the ant returned, only the shell of the worm had fallen and she saw that the worm had gone somewhere. She saw a beautiful moth fluttering its wings as it fluttered its wings. He said to her, ‘Oh, you were mocking me that day as a prisoner, you were saying that your own condition was better than mine, remember that I am the worm in the box. If you want to brag that you can go wherever you want, feel free to hit. Until then, I can easily walk around in the sky for a while. '

Where the Magic Happens
As an Anxious Introvert, that prefers to keep to myself over having lots of friends, my home is unconventional in its set up. Im a single mother of 2 boys ages 4 and 6. Early on I decided that I wasn't going to stress myself to keep up with what the world determined to be "normal". I currently stay in a 1 bedroom apartment. In order to make sure my kids got the experience of having their own space, and being able to decorate it how they'd like, I gave them the bedroom. With that being said I had to make due with the ultra small living room myself. So instead of couches and tables I have a futon for when guests come over (and to sleep on), a tv, and finally in the corner I have what my kids like to call the Pillow spot. In the pillow spot is where most of all of our best memories are created.
