Am I the asshole for insisting we put my 8-month-old baby in a French immersion daycare?
Am I the asshole for insisting we put my 8-month-old baby in a French immersion daycare? I, 30 years old female insisted to put my son, 8 months old in a French immersion daycare even though my husband, 38 old male thinks it is not important that we raise him bilingual. My husband is a skilled worker and a high school graduate while I am a teacher who studied the English language and who English is her second language. This baby, let’s call him Kai, is our first child and he is always fighting me about every little decision and seems to think he knows best about everything.

Hallo & Legand
An Opening in the Trees Now Cheered Him with the Hopes That the ChurchBridge Was at Hand. the Wavering Reflection of a Silver Star in the Bosom of the Brook Told Him That He Was Not Mistaken. He Saw the Walls of the Church Dimly Glaring Under the Trees Beyond. He Recollected the Place Where Brom Bones's Ghostly Competitor Had Disappeared. "If I Can but Reach That Bridge," Thought Ichabod, "I Am Safe." Just Then He Heard the Black Steed Panting and Blowing Close Behind Him; He Even Fancied That He Felt His Hot Breath. Another Convulsive Kick in the Ribs, and Old Gunpowder Sprang Upon the Bridge; He Thundered Over the Resounding Planks; He Gained the Opposite Side; and Now Ichabod Cast a Look Behind to See If His Pursuer Should Vanish, According to Rule, in a Flash of Fire and Brimstone. Just Then He Saw the Goblin Rising in His Stirrups, and in the Very Act of Hurling His Head at Him. Ichabod Endeavored to Dodge the Horrible Missile, but Too Late. It Encountered His Cranium with a Tremendous Crash,--He Was Tumbled Headlong into the Dust, and Gunpowder, the Black Steed, and the Goblin Rider, Passed by Like a Whirlwind.

Legacy
It’s only a few minutes past 4 pm and the sun is already setting. My brother pulls his A-class Mercedes into the driveway of an impressive yellow house. It’s not really a mansion, not by today’s standards. But it would have been considered one at the time when it was built, and a few hundred years thereafter. Still, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a fully renovated basement, a sunroom, and a double-lot within jogging distance of Harvard is nothing to scoff at.

This Doggone Pandemic, Man!
The World has literally gone to the dogs through this global pandemic, and so have I... What a "ruff" couple of years we all have been through! It has taken a lot to change my life so drastically. From these doggone masks, to changing my career - several times, and trying to sell and get paid for products while working from home, instead of being mocked for this choice.

A Stray Dog Christmas
Ernest Hemingway once said that 'all true stories end in death'...I guess it's a good thing this is a Christmas story. Everyone called her Miss Pat. She was a little old lady in excellent health and full of vigor, charm, a big heart and she truly loved dogs. It’s simple... She realized a long time ago that dogs cannot take care of themselves. Maybe if they had thumbs? (she thought) but probably not.

Magic in a Box
I am magical and can see everything that is happening around me, both inside of this box and on the outside. That’s how come I can tell you this story with certainty. Only me and the woman who wrapped this box and put a special gift in it know what I’m hiding. It’s fun to be able to keep a magical secret once in a while. The gift that I’m keeping safe is extremely special because it is a one-of-a-kind artistic creation. That means I’m the only gift box in the world that will ever have the chance to see someone open this particular gift.

CHRISTMAS DAY SPECIAL
Christmas is an annual religious and cultural festival celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ that is celebrated by billions of people throughout the world on December 25th. It precedes the season of Advent or the Nativity Fast and begins the season of Christmastide, which traditionally in the West lasts twelve days and culminates on the Twelfth Night. Christmas Day is a public holiday in many countries, and it is observed religiously by the majority of Christians as well as culturally by many non-Christians. It is also an important element of the holiday season. According to the New Testament's account of Jesus' birth, he was born at Bethlehem in fulfillment of messianic prophecies. When Joseph and Mary arrived in town, the inn was full, so they were offered a stable, where the Christ Child was shortly born, with angels announcing the good news to shepherds, who then spread the word. Christmas commemorates the birthday of Jesus Christ, whom Christians believe to be God's Son.
