The Timeless Power of a Mother's Love
A mother’s love is one of the purest and most selfless forms of affection in the world. It is a bond that transcends words, a connection forged from the moment a child is conceived. Rooted in sacrifice, patience, and unwavering devotion, a mother's love is often described as the very foundation of a child’s sense of security and well-being.
From nurturing her child through sleepless nights to guiding them through life’s challenges, a mother’s love manifests in countless acts of care and kindness. It is not confined by age or circumstance; whether her child is taking their first steps or navigating adulthood, a mother’s support remains steadfast.
What makes a mother’s love so extraordinary is its resilience. It is forgiving, understanding, and unconditional. Even in moments of frustration or disappointment, a mother’s heart continues to radiate compassion, serving as a source of inspiration and strength for her child.
Beyond the biological bond, a mother’s love is universal, extending to those she chooses to care for with the same depth of emotion. This love teaches lessons of empathy, courage, and perseverance, shaping not only her child but the world around her.
In a world often marked by uncertainty, a mother’s love is a constant—a gentle reminder that we are cherished and valued, no matter how far we roam. It is a love that nurtures, uplifts, and endures, leaving an indelible mark on all it touches.
On earth there is no love compared to mother’s love which makes me one to say few things about my mother.
My mother is a very strong and smart woman, she was one of those African girl child that their parents do not support female education.her growing up was very tough because she has to go with her own mother to the farm and market, she was the only female and also the eldest so she had to be with her mom all the time.
When she bacame a teenager her father gave her hand in marriage to his friend’s son who is now my father.at that time my father stays in the city but visits his parents regularly in the village where my mother and her parents lives too,my mother’s father love my dad so much because of how generous he use to be when he comes to the village and even my mother had a crush on him then so she did not refuse when she was asked to marry him.
He took my mom to the city after their marriage at the village popular church then,I believe that was the happiest day of her life.she had to face the reality when she got to the city, she was surprised that her husband is not who she thinks he is.
She took in after a year of her marriage and it took her seven years to have the second child.that was when my father left his job because it was too stressful and he claimed he is too old for the job,my mother second child was just eight months then and she also has a seven years old daughter, she cried and beg my father to please find a job but my father refuse saying he getting old and he was just in his early 40s then,my mother reported him to hi family and they all supported him except his immediate brother which they later became enemies till date because he told him the truth.
Since then my mother had worked so hard for us too feed, she later gave birth to two children after the two girls she had,she gave birth to my brother and I,which made us 4 children,I am the last born.
My has done so many hard work so she could pay our fees and also feed us including our father,I have experienced a lot of humiliation that has happened to my mom and no matter what happened she will not cry in our presence, she is such a strong woman, she works as a cleaner in a polytechnic school and the salary is nothing compared to her services, the salary is so small but she knows there’s nobody to take care of us and there is no other job she can take because she is not educated.
My mother would be 63 this year by june 12,but because I believe life is beautiful,I believe I can still make her happy before she leaves this earth.May the Almighty bless all sweet mothers.
