Mom, Leave Dad
2011. The year I witnessed my mom being thrown around like a rag doll. He punched her face multiple times, then continued punching her on the stomach. I remember sitting on the staircase, bawling my eyes out, screaming for my dad to stop. It was the worst day of my life. Still, she forgave him. I forgave him too, burying the memory as years passed by. The three of us went on road trips, ate on restaurants, pretended for a while that we were a normal family.

Toxic
Imagine this. Your significant other starts manipulating you early in your relationship. You don’t recognize it right away because you trust this person. They haven’t done anything to you that you recognize as harmful. You just notice that once in a while, they make you feel guilty for hanging out with your friends instead of them. Then, things get more intense. They start lying to you, and when you finally get the courage to confront them, they turn it around on you, making you question yourself. Making you not trust your own instincts. They start calling you all the time and getting upset when you can’t answer right away no matter if you’re working, if your phone is dead, or if you’re doing something important for yourself. Your feelings don’t matter. You don’t matter. You’re there as a tool for your significant other to use to help feed their own ego.

My Story
Hey guys, first I'd like to say thank you for reading my blogs. I have always wanted to be a writer and I'm currently working on two books. I am happily married with a beautiful two-year-old daughter. Also, I am a stay-at-home mom and wife. I haven't worked since the middle of my pregnancy. I am an Atheist as of one year ago and I love to cook as well. That's just a little about me as a person, now lets get to my life...

Moms Are Scared of Spiders, Too
No one really prepares you for parenthood. All those home classes you take in school are so easy to forget, especially when you never pay attention—except for the days you got to cook things... Now that was a day for full focus and empty bellies.

Medical Malpractice at It's Finest; And the Dangers of Coumadin
I lost my Aunt unexpectedly over this past weekend. It basically downright sucks! You can only imagine how her kids feel, how her grand kids feel, and mostly her husband of 58 years feel! It is so maddening as to what happened and malpractice is what seems to possibly been the cause of all of this.

My Son's Passing
To begin, I was a single mother of six children. Five of those children living with me due to my oldest being taken to Florida by who MAY be his father while I was at the doctor's. (I will elaborate on the subject in another story.) I lived in my grandfather's home with him, my children, and my boyfriend at the time. I was working for $8.50 an hour as a medical assistant in a doctor's office...horrible money for my position. But I still took care of my family and helped my grandfather pay the bills. The boyfriend wasn't working, two of my kids were in school, and the rest stayed at home because I couldn't afford daycare. So, the boyfriend watched them, or I would drive them to the next town to stay with their grandmother until I got off work. Okay, done with a bit of the back story.

Who Are Zharitta & Qwikwito?
When my sisters and I were kids we had a couple of imaginary friends that we always played with. We made our hands take the form of a dinosaur talking, which was Zharitta, and our hand shaped like a toad that talked by making a mouth with our thumb and index finger, which was Qwikwito. When the baby of the family would play with Qwikiwto, she would squash him like a tomato, but one just simply had to blow air at Qwikwito to bring them back to their regular shape. She would also feed him as many marbles as they could eat, but one too many and Qwikwito would throw them up, which was always the funniest thing to witness and act out.

Dear Damien
How to survive after losing your child is such a hard thought no one has a concrete answer to. When your child's last heart beat on the monitor beats its last beat, your breath drops and your heart feels numb. You as a mother feel guilty for even still breathing and walking.
