11 Retro Toys That You Can Still Buy
Remember when we were kids? Toys did not come with apps, require you to buy a console, or become obsolete every few months. We built, we designed, we played, and we used our imaginations. Although modern toys are interesting, I think there is something to be said for the things we played with back in the day. Luckily, many of these things have remained available, or have made a comeback, so that we can watch our own children play with them today.

Where Are You From?
I’ve wanted to write this piece for a while now. I’ve just struggled to find the words. As a matter of fact, I don’t really know what I’m going to write. Or for that matter, where this is going. I just know I need to get these thoughts out of my head and onto paper (sort of).

Living Without Her...
Once upon a time, my life used to be perfect. I used to smile, I used to love, I was fearless, and unstoppable, Life made sense...I believe that life was perfect, I was the richest girl in the world because I had my best friend next to me always. My reason to smile and want more in life. But then on November 3rd, 2016, my life stopped... I don't remember much from that day. Stop Feeling Bad for Giving Yourself a Break
Parenting guilt is a very, very real and over powering issue. For so many of us this daily mental battle takes the spot as the hardest thing to adjust to as a parent. And that comes as no surprise when you take a look around at the environment we have to navigate today. Social media gives us a tool to sit and mindlessly rank ourselves with against the highlight reels of other parents all over the world. Meanwhile, the unspoken rules of parenthood are getting stricter and stricter, while our outspoken generation has brought parent shaming to an all time high. Now, I'm not saying we should go back to the days of feeding new-born babies whiskey to help them sleep while they sit in smoke filled rooms. But it's also not really anyone's business to judge if little Jimmy's poor, exhausted parent who's been up since 4 AM, cleaned the house, changed four nappies, defused three tantrums, done a load of washing;,and fed their child a balanced diet for the past week gives them a sausage roll in their pram to shut them up for half an hour, so they can do a bit of shopping in peace, is it?

The 'Why' Game
Why? Why? Why? But Why? For most of us, this why game from young children eventually hits a point where we will become exasperated from the never-ending questions that can seem to rain down. After a long day, many people might lack the energy to seriously engage in this playful but very useful component of child development. The question might not be an easy why, but why not engage and develop cognitive skills as early as possible to foster a lifelong ability to be curious about the world?

Four Major Blunders Parents Make During Holiday Travel with Kids...
You know what’s more stressful than traveling with kids? Traveling with kids during the holidays. Our kids are out of their routines. They’re faced with unfamiliar people and places. They’ve got to wait in long lines and eat weird foods. Heck, aren’t these the very same things that make adult travelers so irritable and impatient? And us poor parents are stuck in the middle, trying to balance our kids’ needs with our own sanity and the comfort of everyone around us.

Diary of a Dad Aged 50¾ - Part 7
It’s funny what you really notice when you have to concentrate and are not able to think about anything else. A bit like at the Oscars when Warren Beaty said La La Land and not Moonlight. It is also like stating don’t think about a red post box—bang! and there it is in your head and ready to have your post deposited!

Daddy Dearest (Pt. 1)
My father gave me the experience of heartbreak long before any other man could have the chance. He often told me that these things were normal, that it was supposed to be a part of growing up. You're supposed to learn things in new ways, and it's supposed to better oneself.

Why Christmas Isn't the Happiest Time of the Year
Everyone knows that the winter holidays are supposedly the happiest time of the year. Well, I say it is not for a lot of families around the world, even just in our hometowns. So let me explain this a bit as I am sure a lot of people would disagree with me.
