I’m A Baseball Mom, Here’s What It Means To Me.
When I think of the term “baseball mom”, I think of a person who is dedicated to their kids and spends countless hours on driving them to practices and games. They are always there for every little thing their child does, no matter how big or small. A baseball parent has spent time at the park watching their kid play ball since they were in diapers. A baseball parent knows when it is time to get new cleats or a bat that was cracked in half from being
1. Introduction
Today’s generation is the one of the most educated and literate one in the history of mankind. We are the generation that has grown up with internet and mobile technology. We have unlimited information at our fingertips, at any given time.
But we’re also lazy. We don’t have time to read long articles or read books, nor do we want to. When faced with a huge block of text, we will either skip it or scan through it.
That’s why I created this book – to make you learn things in a fun way using visuals and not
2. I’m a baseball mom, here’s what it means to me!
Baseball moms have a tough job. Their kids play all year long, they go to all the games, and they help with fundraisers. And it’s not just youth ball. When it comes time for high school baseball, these moms are there for two-a-days and summer ball.
When you’re a baseball mom, you follow the game more closely than ever before. You learn about stats and you watch the games intently. You can tell which players are hustling and who has a good attitude. You know which coaches are good, who is looking for an extra practice
3. What does being a baseball mom mean?
It means being a baseball mom is about loving my boy. It means I love watching him play and supporting him on the field. But it also means I worry about him when he is in the game, in the stands or on his way to a tournament. Being a baseball mom is about being able to sit through 25+ innings of games and having your adrenalin rush when you see your son succeed. It’s about being able to get up at 5 am to make sure he gets to practice on time, or going out at 9 pm to pick up dinner for the team after a game that ended after 10
4. The struggles that come with being a baseball mom
As a baseball mom, there are many struggles that come with being a part of the game. From long hours to late night games, baseball moms have it hard, but they love it. The fans in the stands support the players on the field and make their time enjoyable.
Since I was young I've always played sports. I started playing tennis at age 10 and then moved on to water polo when I was 13. In high school, I played soccer and continued on to play in college. My love for sports has never ceased, but baseball is my favorite.
I have been attending baseball games
5. The incredible experiences of being a baseball mom!
Being a baseball mom is not easy. You have to be there for your kids, cheering them on, while they’re in the game, and commiserating with them when they’re on the bench. You have to be an amazing cook, because everyone will want your food. You have to be a super fan and cheer for the team no matter how badly the kids are losing. And you have to be a smart businesswoman, because there’s a lot of money to be made from being a baseball mom!
6. The sport of baseball has changed my life in ways I could never imagine...
I can still remember my first Little League game as if it were yesterday. It was the first day of Spring, and I was excited to be playing a new sport. The bases were loaded and we had a 3-2 lead in the top of the bottom of the 7th inning.
My coach called out 'three fingers', which meant I was up to bat. As I ran up to home plate, I could feel my heart pounding and my palms getting sweaty with anxiety. Even though there were three outs left, I didn’t want the game to end. So I struck out.
7. And finally, the importance of being involved in your kids sports activities!
Your kids need you to be involved in their sports activities. It’s not just a way for your kids to spend time together, it also helps develop character and they’ll become better people.
The most important thing you can do as a parent is to teach your children that they can do anything they want if they set their mind to it. The skills they learn in sports will translate into other areas of their life.
The key is to always have fun!
Conclusion: The first step in being a good baseball mom is to know the basics of the game. If you don’t understand the rules, it will be hard for you to support your child fully and cheer them on during games.
