1. Green & more green: According to data, the pollution level is higher inside the home than outside. So it is important to place at least more than 3 indoor plants in the house to increase the oxygen level.
Indoor plants like Ivy, Peace lily or Aloe Vera also help in purifying the air of the house.
2. Shoes at bay: You should follow a strict no-shoe policy at home. Hoes carry a lot of bacteria at home.
You can use fancy “No shoe” write-ups at door & well-constructed shoe racks at the door. This will encourage your visitors to follow the rules.

Spend at least 2 hours every weekend decluttering our house.

Soy candles are the best alternative as they are derived from soybeans. It’s a renewable source & creates 90% less pollution than paraffin.
6. Diffusers: One of the most cost-effective & best ways of making a home more healthy. You can use any essential oil in the diffuser for this purpose.
It is important to mention that essential oils have a lot of benefits such as ginger or lemon essential oil can boost our immunity and lavender essential can reduce our stress & anxiety levels. Isn’t it a buy one get one offer?
Well these are the tips for making the house healthy but the house becomes home when the people of that house love healthy together and leaves happily together. For this, I have some more tips to suggest and the tips are for healthy snacking options. I am going to call it “healthy home snacks”. So let’s get into the list:
1. Mixed nuts: You can mix some different nuts like walnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts, pine nuts, macadamia nuts, cashews, and pistachios for free time munching. This will help in feeling full for a long time and this maintains a healthy balance of fat, fiber and protein.
2. Greek yogurt & mixed berries: A mix of Greek yogurt and mixed berries is one of the best snacking options. It will make you feel full and it is extremely tasty. It has a taste of sweet and tart taste together.
3. Apple slice and peanut butter: Apple slice with peanut butter is not only a healthy snacking option but also it is one of the tastiest snacks as well.
Peanut has good fats int while apple has fiber. You can add a dash of cinnamon powder to add more flavour to it. Although it is optional.
However, some peanut butter has sugar and oils in it. Please check the ingredient list before buying and try to avoid those peanut butter as well.
4. Cottage cheese and fruits: Cottage cheese is high in protein. Just one cup of cottage cheese has 24 grams of protein. When you mix it with fruit, you get a combo of fiber, protein and fat.
5. Dark chocolates and almonds: Dark chocolates and almonds are best paired together. Dark chocolate contains antioxidants in it while almonds have good fats in them. Dark chocolate is supremely good for your heart too. So whenever you feel hungry just grab a square of dark chocolate or some choco chips and a handful of nuts. This will make you feel fuller and will help you to fight many diseases.
6. Kale chips: Kale chips are healthy and it is full of fiber and antioxidants like beta carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin. It also provides minerals to the body like calcium and phosphorus and it helps in reducing oxalic acid as well.
You can give it a toss with olive oil to make it more crispy and tasty. You will need a little bit of olive oil and salt for this. This simple recipe is tasty yet healthy and filling snacks will keep your family healthier and will help you in living healthier.
