Home education has a greater impact on children than school. If there is a problem with parent-child communication, parents are in the lead. The problem with parents is the mindset, and the mindset determines the state. There is no interest in our lives that is more important than the success of educating our children. The healthy growth of a child will make parents feel that all the hard work is worth it.

Since the education of children is so important, what kind of mindset should parents have? The experts at Disney's Wonderful Home believe that parents need to share the joy of the life process with their children. There is a difference between a utilitarian and a non-utilitarian mindset in homeschooling, with the former having to do with a single short-term goal, while the latter is more concerned with the child being able to enjoy the joy of life.

Parents should focus on three questions when dealing with their children's grades: What is wrong with the child? Why is it wrong? How to correct it in the future? Parents should be more motivated by their children's learning rather than simply focusing on its results.

There is a story: when the son reluctantly took out the bottom 3 test papers to show his father, the father did not blame him, but took his son out for a walk and said to him, "I admire you! Because you have repeatedly failed but indomitable ......" as a reminder that parents need to build a vision of happy growth with their children and construct a humanistic mindset.

Establish a scientific view of parenting and education

A wise mother's education story: A teacher complained to her mother that her son had stolen a classmate's toy Transformers. When her son returned home, his mother asked offhandedly, "Did you borrow your classmate's Transformer today and forget to return it?" The apprehensive son said "Yes". Mom said, "Then you should remember to return it to your classmate. You like Transformers very much, don't you? Then tomorrow mommy will buy you one too. ......"

This story of a wise mother's education is very emotional for her son, who is now 28 years old. 10-14-year-olds have weak ownership relationships, so wise education is very important for the healthy growth of children. Children's development is age-specific, and they grow autonomously in the process of subject-object interaction; let's not deprive our children of their space to grow.

Don't demand children with parental standards, and be more motivating and less critical of them. Life is more important than grades, and interest in learning is more important than grades. Grades are not the only criterion for evaluating children, and there are diverse ways to become successful. The authoritarian parent-child relationship has no democracy, and the child's sense of independence is stifled; the permissive parent-child relationship has no rules; the democratic parent-child relationship has equal personality, respects the child, does not oppress others with power, sets the facts, reasoning, inspires the child, and thinks differently. The most important part of parent-child communication is to think differently.

Education should also be appropriate to the age of the child's psychological development and stimulate the child's intrinsic interest in learning. A child without independence and autonomy has an unsound personality and should be guided to build success based on self-transcendence.

Let your child become the master of his or her destiny

Experts from Disney's Myriad Homes recommend that

To appreciate your child and develop his or her self-confidence. In the face of those children who think they are failures, it is worth taking out a piece of paper and writing out the child's specific strengths, such as seriousness in learning, courtesy, and filial piety ...... any life is unique, to make the child feel that he or she is a very valuable person, to stimulate the child's power of self-growth and give him or her confidence.

Be kind to setbacks and cultivate your child's reflective power. For example, what is the reason for a bad test? The reason is not enough effort or a problem with the method, guide the child to improve the method, do not use "pig brain" such as injected psychological virus language to blame, hurt the child.

To pay attention to the process, to cultivate an interest in the child's intellectual activities. Don't take failure too seriously. There have been parents who instilled in their children that "one point equals 30,000 yuan" before the midterm, and after such a concept is input, it is impossible for the child to have a smooth exam mentality.

It is important to face reality and cultivate a sense of responsibility for your child's learning. To make it clear to children that learning is their responsibility, not learning for their parents.

To cultivate a healthy personality in children, to train them to learn to respect others, to develop a sense of rules, to learn to collaborate in interactions, to learn to build a social support system, and to have good interpersonal relationships.
