Short Stories

By Sandra BongjohPublished 5 years ago 2 min read

Once upon a time in the city of Richmond in the state of Indiana, a couple lived with their daughter. Cindy Robinson was an intelligent and beautiful girl, but she had a fault. She was jealous of people who had better grades than she did. She lived in a big apartment with her parents. She was five years old.

In the same apartment floor lived a boy called Georges. Georges was a very intelligent boy. He had better grades than Cindy and was always the best in the class. In Mrs. Hendrickson's class, there were three good pupils: Georges, Kevin and Cindy. Cindy hated Georges because he always had the highest grade in the class. She liked Kevin better than Georges because he didn't beat her all the time in all their exams.

Her mother was happy for her. Cindy began to grow up and become more mature. She deserved to invite all her friends and the teacher for her sixth birthday party. She invited everyone in her class except Georges-because he had the highest grade in the class, and she was jealous of him and mean to him.

The party was going well. Many people came to Cindy's birthday. Cindy's friends came with their parents and introduced them to Cindy's parents. Cindy took her best friends into her room to play cards and other games. Mr. and Mrs. Robinson were chatting with Cindy's friend's parents and with her teacher. Everybody had fun at the party!

The next day, Cindy went to school with the new bracelet that her mother had given her for birthday. She showed it to the teacher. When it was break time, she went to the cafeteria to drink some water, and she took off her bracelet so as not to spoil it. She left it next to the water fountain and forgot to put it back on. Then she went back to class, where she realized she didn't have her bracelet anymore. She was worried because of her bracelet anymore. She was worried because of her bracelet. She had it when she went to school, but she didn't know where she'd lost it.

Georges asked the teacher if he could go get a drink of water, and the teacher let him go. When he got to the water fountain in the cafeteria, he saw Cindy's bracelet on the water fountain. He was thinking when he saw this bracelet that he'd once seen her playing with it. He went to class and showed the teacher what he found.

The teacher exclaimed, " This could be Cindy's bracelet. I saw her wearing it before. " She told Cindy who had found her bracelet and what could have happened if she really had lost.

At the end of the class, Cindy went up to Georges.

"Thank you for finding my bracelet and bringing it back. I'm sorry for everything that I've done to you, especially not inviting you to my party."

Since that day, they remained good friends.
