Bruce Willis'

been a difficult year for "Die Hard" star Bruce Willis after he was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, a condition that can affect a person's behavior, speech, and language. He retired from acting when he was originally diagnosed with aphasia in March 2022.

But Willis was in good spirits for his 68th birthday on Sunday, which he celebrated with his family at home.

The star was joined by his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and his ex-wife Demi Moore for the party — and Moore shared a heartwarming video of Willis singing along with their children before blowing out his birthday candles.

Moore wrote: "Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes - we all feel them."

Moore and Willis were married from 1987 to 2000 and had three daughters before separating in 1998, but they're clearly still close friends.
Heming Willis shared a few emotional thoughts about her husband in two Instagram posts, explaining in one that her birthday wish for the actor "is that you continue to keep him in your prayers and highest vibrations because his sensitive Pisces soul will feel it. Thank you so much for loving and caring for him too."
The actor's wife was also honest about how a day of celebration can feel bittersweet, but that she's grateful for the support the family has received since Willis' diagnosis.

"Today is one of those days of feeling the grief and sadness. But the silver lining or the flip side is that I'm so lucky to feel your warmth and love that is directed to my husband and our family. I see your messages, your stories that you share, and all I can say is thank you," said Heming Willis on Instagram.
It's a special day for actor Bruce Willis as he got to celebrate his 68th birthday surrounded by his family, including ex-wife Demi Moore. Wishing the actor, Demi shared a video on her Instagram, giving fans glimpses of the homely birthday celebration. The clip featured Moore along with her daughters Rumer, Tallulah, and Scout LaRue, birthday boy Bruce, his wife Emma Heming Willis, and their daughters Evelyn Penn and Mabel Ray. All of them can be seen singing Happy Birthday for the actor, who is currently suffering from incurable dementia. His wife Emma later presents him with a dessert with lit candles.

Sharing the video, Moore also penned a sweet message for the actor who was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia last month. While captioning the post, she wrote, “Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes — we all feel them."

Hollywood star Bruce Willis’ family wished the actor a happy 68th birthday in separate Instagram posts. He was diagnosed with a form of dementia called frontotemporal dementia, or FTD, last month. His ex-wife Demi Moore posted a video of Willis celebrating with her, his current wife Emma Heming Willis, his daughters and other family members, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

The video shows the family singing “Happy Birthday” to Willis followed by him blowing out candles on a pie. Moore captioned the video: “Happy birthday, BW! So glad we could celebrate you today. Love you and love our family. Thank you to everyone for the love and warm wishes, we all feel them.”

Willis has three grown daughters with Moore (Rumer, Scout and Tallulah) and two with his current wife Emma (Mabel and Evelyn). Scout also posted the same video, with the caption: “Today has been PROFOUNDLY JOYFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL !!!!!! HAPPY BW’S BIRTHDAY TO ALL WHO CELEBRATE !!!!”

Separately, she posted a photo of her as a young girl sitting on her dad’s shoulders, appearing to be sleeping. Calling Bruce “one of my best friends, the Pisces king, the master of duality, both action hero icon and gentle girl dad,” she said it’s been “a privilege” to have him as her father.

However, she admitted that the entire day wasn’t completely celebratory. “Today is not necessarily an easy day, because it’s a day full of so deep love, and our grief really does show us the depth of our loving for someone,” she wrote. “So I’m trying to be with both today. Grief is a price I’ll always pay to know what it is to feel such love. I’m sending my love to anyone who has ever felt their capacity stretched by the enormity of love and the humanness of grief. I love you.”

Meanwhile, Emma also posted two separate videos on Instagram marking Willis’ birthday. In the first, she opened up about dealing with feelings of grief and sadness everyday. In her video, Emma noted that she’d been crying that morning.
