Crazy Little Socks

One day on a nice warm summer Sunday, there lived a family of 4, Mom (Delilah), Dad (Steve) and 2 little boys, Eric and Andre. They were getting ready for a Church Picnic when the oldest boy Eric couldn't find his church socks. He looked high and low for them but nothing, then finally he told gave up and asked his dad could he borrow a pair of his. The father said, "Yes you may but where are your church sock?"

"I don't know!" Eric replied. "I can't find them anywhere!"

"They couldn't have just gotten up and walked away on their own! Well we will look when we get back home, here I'll give you a pair out of my drawer." But little did his socks were missing too, "What the what!?" Steve bellowed in surprise, none of his church socks were in sight. So Steve had the idea that his wife did the laundry and misplaced in a spot only she would know.

"Honey, did you put my socks in a different spot?" Steve yelled out from the other room. "Huh!!" Said Delilah with confusion, "No I did not, I put them in the same spot I always put them." The father was so confused himself, "well they are not here and neither is Eric's, we are both missing our church socks and cannot find them anywhere!" Yelled the Steve.

"Now that's odd, are you both sure, you didn't misplace you're own sock!?" Mom asked. "No!" Steve and Eric said in unison.

"Mommy I can't find any of my church socks, did you move them again!?" Andre called out from the other room.

"Are you serious, you too, what in the world are you people doing with ya socks!? This is ridiculous!" Delilah said with confusion and now irritation.

Time was now winding down for them to go to their church picnic and neither Steve, Eric or Andre could find their church socks anywhere. They looked everywhere.

In their rooms, the dirty clothes hamper, bathroom floor, the basement, they even looked in the garage and still nothing. Finally mom to just put on some other socks, they were already running late. So they all put a pair of socks and off they went.

The house was quiet, empty, hollow and then what do you know out pops Sid, and Oscar, Monty and Rainbow, and Sam and Jackie these were Steve's church socks. Then came Grace and Carl and Danny and Keshia these were Eric's socks and the littlest out of the bunch were Darryl and Susan, and Ashley and Faith, of course those were Andre's socks.

"Are they finally gone can we come out now?" Asked Grace. "Yes the coast is clear, you all can come out now." Hollard Sid, he was the leader of them all. They all came out of secret hiding place where Andre keeps his many collectables he is not supposed to have. As they all came out Monty yelled in relief, "FREE AT LAST, FREE AT LAST, THANK GOD ALL MIGHTY WE ARE FREE AT LAST!" "Do you have to say that every time we get the house ourselves Dr. Sock Luther King?" Asked Keshia in annoyance.

"I don't see you cheering for freedom when we have our alone time." he said with a grim look on his face. " That's because it's not freedom, they come back you know, I like to call and hour lunch break" she said with sarcasm.

"Alright you two that's enough, must ya do this every time?" Sid asked in irritation. "Well tell Monty stop getting so excited, he gets our hopes up", Keshia cried. Monty said in his smug voice, "I just try to lighten up the mood because we have the house to ourselves for an hour maybe two, is that so bad?"

Monty's question never got answered, so they moved on, "alright since its Sunday, 'The Lords Day as they always say', we got the house for a little longer today due them going to that church picnic!!" Sid replied. So the all the socks decided it was time to have some fun!

"Are you ready to ROCK!" Screamed Rainbow. "Well lets get this party started!" She yelled once more.

All the socks started to get down with the get down, Sid even joined in this time with them all. "Whoa Sid man, you finally got he thread out of your but and decided to have some fun, WHOOP!!" Oscar said in surprise. Sid responded, "Well I can't be a soggy sock all my life now can I? Besides its not everyday these people go to a picnic, so I say lets party until we shed some thread, WOOHOOO!"

All the crazy little socks partied and partied and partied, no breaks for them, Sid and Oscar got busy on the dance floor, Monty and Keshia were still chopping it up, Rainbow was the DJ, Sam and Jackie really weren't party people, the mostly sat and gossiped about everything, so nobody really liked them that much. They are mostly loners when I comes to hanging out.

"Oh man this party is sooooo lit, I don't ever wanna go back in the sock drawer!" yelled the twins Ashley and Faith, they were the youngest out the bunch along with Darryl and Susan. "Yeh I never wanna go back on Andre's feet again his feet smells horrible, peeeyooouuuu!!" Darryl said with the stank face.

Then all of a sudden they all heard a rattle of keys at the door, well so they thought. Someone was trying to break into their master's home.

"But I thought the Grey's weren't supposed to come home for another few hours!" said Susan in fear. Darryl replied scarcely, "that's not them!" "Ok everybody stay calm, I have a plan to get rid of him and possibly make him go bonkers," Sid said with a smile on his face. "Once they enter that door, we're all going to jump on their face say, 'hey how you doing!?,' that should have them running with their tale between they legs, HAHA!"

So they all got ready, they assumed the position, once the door opened they all jumped on the intruder but little did they know it was the Grey family, the picnic ended early due to food poisoning. Once they all jumped on the family they all said in unison, "HA got you, this family belongs to us not you!"

Delilah fainted, Steve was so in shock you would've thought he seen a ghost and the boys, well you know, boys will be boys so of course they thought it was cool. Once all the socks had realized who it was they tried going camo again buuuuuut it didn't work they had already been exposed.

Sid said in a fright, "Hey there Steve, my name is Sid and I am your right church sock, how you doing today?" Steve was so shocked he couldn't answer. Finally Eric broke the silence.

"Ya are some crazy little socks you know that!" Andre replied right after, "yeh crazy little socks," as he laughed.
