A True Friendship between a cat and a mouse

"Unlikely Allies: The Heartwarming Tale of a Cat and Mouse Friendship"

By Euphrasia GomesPublished 2 years ago 2 min read

An adventurous little mouse named Milo lived in a cozy little house on the outskirts of a bustling city.

He was curious and loved exploring every nook and cranny, even though it often got him into trouble.

One sunny morning, as Milo was scurrying through the kitchen, he noticed a mysterious new resident – a sleek, cat named Luna, who had just moved in.

Naturally cautious, Milo was afraid of cats and had heard scary tales about them. He decided to avoid Luna at all costs.

But God made a miracle.

One day, while Milo was searching for food in the pantry, he accidentally knocked over a jar of cookies.

The loud noise alerted Luna, who instantly pounced into the kitchen to investigate.

Panicking, Milo tried to hide, but he was trapped!

Luna approached, her golden eyes locked onto the trembling mouse.

However, to Milo's surprise, Luna spoke softly, soothingly, instead of attacking, "Don't be afraid, little one. I won't harm you.

Milo could not trust his ears! Cats and mice were supposed to be enemies, but Luna seemed different.

Hesitantly, he peeked out from his hiding spot and cautiously introduced himself. Luna smiled gently and assured Milo she didn't want to hurt him.

As the days passed, an unexpected friendship blossomed between Milo and Luna. They spent time together, sharing stories about their lives.

Milo learned that Luna had once been a stray cat, searching for a home where she could belong. She had a problematic past and often felt misunderstood.

Milo, on the other hand, shared his adventures in the house and his love for exploring.

Luna was amazed by Milo's courage and curiosity, and he admired its elegant movements.

They determined that no matter their differences, they had much in common.

One evening, when the house was silent, Milo and Luna decided to have a secret adventure together.

They sneaked into the garden through the open window, where the moon bathed everything in a silvery glow.

They ran and played, chasing fireflies and dancing in the soft grass.

For a moment, they forgot about their usual roles as predator and prey and enjoyed each other's company.

Their secret adventures became regular, and they formed an unbreakable bond.

One day, on a rainy day, when Milo went to the forest, he slipped and fell into the hole. He tried but failed.

At that time, Luna searched for Milo and came to the forest. Suddenly he heard crying, and that was Milo's. That sound helped him to recognize where Milo was.

Luna found Milo and tried to pick him up from there. Luna threw his long tail, and Milo came up.

He was affectionate to Milo. So, the friend in need is a friend indeed and this is called a true friendship. After that incident, they lived together and enjoyed a happy life.

Moral of the story: The friend in need is a friend indeed.
