A phase full of abundance- motherhood

Apologies for publishing this a month late as I was caught up with editing and proofreading for another project. Later this week, I will be writing a heart-touching piece for all the dads out there, working, supporting and encouraging us every day. But before that, let's celebrate our mothers once again. Enjoy this read!

May is a beautiful month with fresh flowers, a summer breeze and is a perfect season to celebrate mothers' love and compassion for their children.

Must I remind you, a mother, a woman who selflessly gives in to nurture and support her children, and family, is indeed a human with some serious superpowers. Willingly confronting the odds the world has to swirl at her, a mother will always stand like the strongest shield to safeguard her kids, no matter what.

In our daily lives, our mothers are always there, providing for us, day and night. Now, for a second just imagine, she is sent off her “mother” duty for 24 hours. What will happen? What will you do? How do you expect yourself to function? The food isn’t ready, the bills aren’t paid, the laundry isn’t done, the mail isn’t sorted, the appointments aren’t taken care of, and the house is a mess. Your world will turn upside down, won't it?

The smallest things account for the bigger picture.

To all the mothers reading this; your challenges, your commitments, your adjustments and your powers are unmatchable. There might be some who don’t grant you the right you deserve when it comes to motherhood, but you still manage to find your way through the lane of hope.

Mothers and grand-mothers, carve, polish and prepare their kids to face the world of realities, pain, love and faith. They install in them a sense of belonging, values of dignity and self-respect.

With the change in time and shift in the perspective of the world, single and working mothers genuinely deserve a huge round of applause. With the pressure of building a family financially, supporting their children emotionally and steadily moving forward with strength and control, mothers are a true blessing.

Juggling the two different ways of life, a working mother continues to serve the needs of her family. With no time to spare for herself, she too gets burnt out, she needs a break and a few words of appreciation. So, you are a mother with grace, pride, joy and power. Your presence is valued more than you think. Your work is admired. Your love is cherished and your role as a mother must be treasured forever.

The way you teach your children to live with patience and perseverance through hardships and be grateful for the happy days is respected.

But, as a reminder, I must convey to you the most important message- TAKE CARE of your mental health. You are the backbone of your family. You need time for yourself to rejuvenate, recharge and rediscover. Your mindset affects others. Your well-being is essential for everyone around you to be healthy. Stop neglecting your peace. Exercise, find some time in the day to read a book, and plan a weekend getaway for your busy mind to refresh. It only takes a little effort for everything to fall into place. The motivation and inspiration to make the effort is what you need to find. For every mother, their child is the supreme source of inspiration. You are doing so well for everyone, just do a little better for your own self as well. I hope you were as proud of your mother as your kids are of you, even if they don’t say it out loud- they love you!
