At age 15, with no Father in the home, Shalee told her Mother Cutie she wanted to have sex, her mother said (Go take a shower!) that was that. Two weeks, later Shalee was pregnant. Cutie replied, (We do not throw away babies in this house, you made your bed, now you will lay in it!) In the ninth grade, Shalee had a son named Mario, born on May the 19th, 1986, by Calvin. Shalee thought (I have to finish school because I have a child to tend to.) Being extremely gifted, she graduated high school with honors a semester ahead of her class. Shalee was pregnant her entire senior year with her second child Bri' Elah, By 1989 Shalee was married, by 1994 a set of twins was added. Kalina and Khalil.

November of 1998, Shalee got divorced and was determined to overcome the past filled with years of pain from physical and mental abuse. Shalee decided to pick back up her music career after writing songs and poems for about fifteen years, she had not been on stage in six years. Shalee hired a new manager, Docta Knots, who funded a worldwide tour. Shalee founded her group (Three of a kind). Shalee had custody of all her children, who went to their Grandmothers when she went on tour. It was February the 9th, 1998, they are going on tour. Shalee was a good driver, so she agreed to start the drive from Minnesota to Detroit. It was 9 pm, Shalee was driving, suddenly there was an immeasurable amount of fog. Oh No! Shalee took off her seat belt two miles back to adjust herself! Anxiety was kicking in, as the others were asleep.

Shalee looks at Melody and shakes her to wake her, she heard a voice say (Do not take your hand off the wheel.) While driving into the high medium. Shalee whispered a little prayer as her face hit the steering wheel. The SUV flipped 7 times, Shalee died that day! It is what she believes, then realized it was an out-of-body experience: Described as being in all darkness, seeing only eyeballs all over like they were in the wall for about two min or less. Melody called Shalee about eleven times, she finally opened her eyes then crawled out of the SUV through the passenger side window. The Jeep was upside down, the top of the truck was in the lap of the driver side and passenger seat. If she had not taken off that seatbelt, she would have been cut in half! Melody told her there was an eighteen-wheeler that burned rubber to keep from hitting them. It happened in a town called Hammond in Indiana. Shalee was hurt left with a permanent black eye, set to make thousands off the tour, instead, she was broke and broken and still being stalked. It was definitely time to pause the music career. Shalee got a job at a collection agency, she went back to school to gain her General Business Diploma. Shalee decided to leave Minnesota and continue her music career in the South. Shalee picked two warm states on the map and played this game called Eeny, meeny, miny, moe and her own lyrics (Eeny, meeny, miny, moe tired of the cold which way I go? Eeny, meeny, miny, moe) the game started in Texas and landed in Georgia, she found a place online. The place would be ready in October, she had two thousand dollars, two boxes of canned food, and two garbage bags full of clothes for her and her girls. The boys stayed with their Grandmother Shalee returned to get them once she was settled. She packed up her 1995 Ford Taurus and drove one thousand miles to Georgia. Shalees Mother was crying, begging her to stay, her mind was made up. Shalee wanted to try to find her Dad, Samuel Harrison. The story was told they were in love. He was going to war. Cutie was two months pregnant with her. Therefore from birth to twenty-eight years old, Shalee grew up without a father.

While working at a Collection Agency, her Supervisor told her she could write a letter to the Retired Veterans Department. They would forward it if he was in their database. It was five days before she moved to Georgia she got a call at the house.

Captain Samuel Harrison of the United States Navy was calling, they met briefly over the phone. Cutie got on the phone, she asked him several questions to verify he was indeed Samuel Harrison. The apartment she flew to see was not ready a neighbor told Shalee of a local shelter that gave her a twin-size mattress. Shalee and her two daughters slept on that mattress one night in the apartment. Only to find roaches crawling on them, the apartment was empty and roach-infested. One thousand miles from home, with only two little girls to comfort her. Shalee started second-guessing herself, did she make the right decision? Suddenly! Genuine peace came over her knowing that no-one will be in the closet or under the bed.

They had to find somewhere to go, the carpet had to be replaced. The entire apartment had to be sprayed. Shalee contacted her Father, Samuel, who then called her Cousin, Stacia, on her behalf. Stacia never laid eyes on them but was sweet and let them stay the weekend at her home in Stone Mountain, Georgia.

That weekend she learned more about her fathers' side of the family. It was simple Samuel had two Brothers, Stephon Jr. who died with his wife in an accident he was the oldest, Stacias Father, and Simon, the youngest son, who had a heart attack on a Plane he died young with no children. Stephon Sr. died young; he was African and American Indian, dark as Wesley Snipes. Dasia Taliah was Caucasian, Italian and Native American. These were her Grandparents.

She had only one cousin (Stacia) who had no kids. However, she was accomplished with 3 Degrees, she owned 14 houses, 4 businesses, she had a hot body. Stacia was also a professional bodybuilder, all the way together and her Shero. She traveled and competed all over the world. It was Monday, the apartment was ready. Shalee and Stacia were cousins. Aquarius' both born on Valentine's day 4 years apart, Stacia was the oldest. They promised to keep in touch. Stacia told Shalee the morning she left them there alone, that she checked on her surveillance cameras. She complimented her on how clean and careful she was with handling her place. I am traveling she said, I will mail you a care package, The girls talked from time to time, Stacia always mailed them gifts and gave her help with bills, but they were distant cousins that grew to love each other.

Samuel drove from Washington Dc. to Georgia to meet her and her two daughters for the first time. He did this a few times, a year always bearing gifts. Shalee started Cosmetology school the following year. It was 2001. For the next fifteen years, Shalee worked as a Cosmetologist. Once all the children were grown and gone. Shalee went to Minnesota to visit her family. Cutie asked her to come home, she did. It is the fall of 2016. Shalee received a phone call. from Samuel It was about 11 pm, in over the last seventeen years; she can not recall him calling her this late. Stacia was Dead! This floored her. She died from cancer. Shalee remembered crying so hard she was distraught. For she loved her cousin and was grateful for how good she was to her. Shalee went to the home going celebration against her father's advice. Why would he tell her not to come? It was in Washington DC. Shalee got there by hitchhiking, paid her respects by reciting a poem for Stacia. The ride giver told Shalee she would wait for her if she would come out right away. So she was in and out. Although she met her Dad, there was a lot of emptiness in her and unanswered questions. She called his home one day, his wife Dottie answered. She said to her (What do you think he can do for you now? He has not done anything for you before.) It was hurtful, she remembered telling her (I do not want anything from him, I only wanted to know him so I could know me a little better.)

It was a Wednesday afternoon, a week after Stacias service there was a knock at the door, Shalee signed for a package addressed to her, and she opened it right away. Inside a( Little Black Book called Cash) the very sight of it was giving her the butterfly effect here it goes she opened the book was actually a wooden compartment that needs a key it was taped to the back of the book, and inside was a small black notebook that was not like any ordinary book it had no lines it was pictures drawn in ink of hearts at the top and then she began to read a hand-written letter;

[Dear Shalee, If you are reading this I have passed away. My Uncle Samuel was my last living relative. When I was two years of age, my parents died in a car accident. He took care of me like I was his own child. He left home at eighteen, joined the Navy, became estranged from the family, and cut out the will. I was with him when he went to find you. Your Aunt Linda told Samuel that you passed away due to a rare disease at age four. He never believed you were alive after that, I knew you were alive, and I knew the lady was lying. I could tell when I looked into her eyes. I have willed you to me.

Our Grandmother passed away leaving a three billion-dollar estate she got that from her investment in the Moleskine Stock in 1981. This notebook is an heirloom it was the first one printed in 1997. l was her only living grand-daughter born on Valentine's day. To think the very one she wanted to keep the money from is the one who will have it all. You are her only living grand-daughter born on Valentine's day. Shalee, you are the Heiress to our Grandmother Dasia's three billion-dollar estate, without You, our legacy would have ended with me. Call the family Attorney, Mr.Tisdell (202) 449-7110. He will ask you for the( Moleskine Notebook) to claim your Inheritance.

These are some facts: Do you know your Grandad's Mom is famous actress Cicely Tyson? She had the secret service watch over you your whole life? She researched your mom and reached out to Our Grandmother, they were in a sorority together. Cicely told her you were alive. Our Grandmother was the Mother of Eastern Stars, the Irony in it is that she passed away the same day your son was born, she knew about you all along, she hid the letters your mom wrote. Grandmother believed, exposing you as her granddaughter would have ruined her she passed as white. I have been traveling since we met to try to find a cure for cancer, all the money in the world couldn't get me better. Loving you from the other side. Forever Stacia P.S. Check your account!

Shalee could not stop crying. All she ever wanted was to know why he left her. Shalee wanted to be loved and she wanted to belong so she gave away her entire Estate to start (Planned Parenthood) for teenage moms with no help. The very next day her account was twenty thousand dollars richer. Stacia post-dated a wire transfer of her savings to Shalee. Stacia was still sending care packages from the other side.
