These Windows 11 shortcuts make your job easy for you be it while taking a screenshot or quickly shutting down your computer. You can do all sorts of stuff using your keyboard, even use it instead of your mouse, which you'll know how to do here and more.

Your Windows 11 shortcuts Cheat Sheet

1. Copy selected items

You can simultaneously press Ctrl + C to copy selected files.

2. Cut the selected items

You can simultaneously press Ctrl + X to cut the selected files.

3. Paste the selected items or files

You can use Ctrl +V to paste the copied or cut files/ items.

4. Undo an action

You can press Ctrl + Z to undo an action.

5. Redo an action

To redo an action you can press Ctrl+ Y.

6. Select all content

Use Ctrl + A to select all content.

7. Rename selected items

The F2 button on your keyboard can be used for renaming files in File Explorer. If you have multiple files selected you can use Ctrl+click to select files individually or all the files in the folder selected by pressing Ctrl+A.

After this, you can press F2 to give them all the same name with sequential numbers attached.

8. Open Task Manager

You can press and hold Ctrl +shift+ Esc to open up Task Manager. You can then monitor and manage the processes and applications running on your computer from here.

9. Display System Properties

You can press the Windows key + Pause key to open Display System Properties (About page) in Windows Settings.

10. Move app/window

If you have multiple monitors you can use Win + Shift + Left/ Right arrow key to move an app or window from one monitor to another.

11. Windows 11 shortcut to Switch input language and keyboard layout

Simultaneously press and hold Win + Spacebar to switch input language and keyboard layout. After pressing the Win + spacebar key combination you can use the space bar to toggle between language options while holding down the Win key.

12. Restart Your graphics driver

Press Windows + Ctrl + Shift + B to restart your graphics driver instantly in Windows 11.

13. Launch Microsoft CoPilot

14. Turn sticky keys on/off

Sticky Keys is a feature that allows you to press multiple keys simultaneously to execute a command. You have to press the Shift key five times to turn sticky Keys on or off.

15. Open Narrator

Press Win + Enter to open Narrator.

16. Open on-screen keyboard

You can use this Windows 11 shortcut to open the on-screen keyboard - Simultaneously press and hold Win + Ctrl + O to open the on-screen keyboard.

17. Turn Filter keys on and off

The Filter keys feature is a useful accessibility feature for users with hand tremors. When you turn Filter Keys on it ignores brief or repeated keystrokes to make typing easier. You can hold the right Shift button for eight seconds to turn Filter Keys on and off.

18. Turn High Contrast on or off

Use the Left Alt + Left Shift + PrtSc key combo to turn High Contrast on or off.

19. Turn Mouse Keys on or off

You can use your keyboard's Numeric Keypad as a pointing device instead of the mouse. Press Left Alt + Left Shift + Num Lock to turn the Mouse Keys on or off. You can now use the numeric keypad on your keyboard instead of the mouse to move the pointer using this Windows 11 shortcut.

20. Windows Magnifier shortcuts

Windows Magnifier is a screen magnifier app intended for visually impaired people. You can use the magnifier to make parts or all of your screen bigger to see words and images better.

You can change your magnifier view by pressing Ctrl + Alt + M . This will cycle through- A) full-screen mode B ) a floating transparent magnifying glass or, C) docked view.

i)Press Win + plus (+) to turn on the magnifier and zoom.

ii)Press Win + minus (-) to zoom out.

iii) Press Win + Esc to exit magnifier.

iv) Press Alt + Ctrl + D to switch to the docked mode in the magnifier.

v) Press the Alt + Ctrl + Arrow keys to pan in the magnifier.

vi) Press Ctrl + Alt + mouse scroll to zoom in or out.

21. Open Ease of Access Centre

Use the Windows 11 shortcut Win + U to open Ease of Access Centre in Windows settings.

22. Windows 11 shortcut to access the overflow menu

The overflow key is the upward arrow in the Notification Area. Pressing Win+ B will highlight the overflow key. Once it is highlighted you can now press enter to expand the overflow menu and use arrow keys to toggle between each icon.

23. Open an app with administrator privilges from the taskbar

You can use Ctrl + Shift + Left-click on the app icon to open an app as administrator from the taskbar.

24. Windows 11 shortcut to open a second instance of an app with administrator privileges

Press Win + Ctrl + Shift + Number key (0 to 9) to open a second instance of an app with administrator privileges from the taskbar.

25. Windows 11 shortcut key to open apps from their pinned taskbar icons

Press Win + number keys (1 through 9) to open apps from their pinned taskbar icons. The apps will open depending on their position on the taskbar (eg: - pressing Win+ 1 will open the first app pinned on the taskbar).
