Why Learn Python? Reasons Why it’s So Hot Right Now.

Everybody is talking about Python and good reason. Python is an open-source language that allows anyone to program. It has a growing community of data science, machine learning and AI experts.

Python is a server-side software language that is easy to learn, read, and write. It's also extremely adaptable. It's used by some of the world's most successful companies.

There are many reasons why Python programming is a great choice, no matter if you are new to coding or an expert. Here are six reasons.

Let's start with what is Python programming.

Python is a high level programming language that can be used to create general-purpose software engineering. It is a server-side language, which means that it runs on the server and processes the inputs of the user, interacts with other servers and databases, and so forth.

Python was originally developed by Guido Van Rossum in the 1980's. It has been around for decades along with other server-side languages like Java or C. Van Rossum modelled Python after the English language and eliminated unnecessary syntax to make it more user-friendly than other programming languages.

Python is an open-source language. It has gained popularity in recent years due to its use for data science. There is a strong Python community for machine learning, data modeling and artificial intelligence (AI) with many resources and libraries.

Yes, these rumors are true. Monty Python, a British comedian group, is the name of Python. This makes it even more amazing, in our opinion.

Why not learn Python?

1. Python's versatility is amazing. It can be used in many ways.

Python is used for Data Mining, Data Science and Machine Learning.

Python can be used to replace languages like C, R and Java. It is simpler and more efficient to write than these languages. Python is becoming a popular primary language for many applications.

Python is used in Data Science and Machine Learning

R is the most popular programming language for data science. Python code is easier to maintain than R and can be scaled more easily than R. This has led to Python becoming increasingly popular for data science, especially among those who don't have advanced degrees in mathematics or statistics.

Many packages for machine learning and data analysis using Python have been created over the years. These include numpy, pandas, which allows users to understand and transform the data, tensorflow which codes machine learning algorithms, and pyspark which provides an API to Spark. This framework allows for easy working with large data sets.

Which types of companies use Python and what are their characteristics?

Python is great for prototyping quickly and startups use it extensively to create their first minimum viable product (MVP). Python is a highly adaptable language that is used by some of the most advanced and successful companies in the world. Netflix spoke about its use of Python in everything, from their Content Delivery Network (CDN), to their monitoring systems.

2. Python is the fastest-growing programming language

Python's many uses in many industries and applications, and its explosive use in data science and machine learning, are all reasons why Python is experiencing major growth.

Stackoverflow.com has Python as the fastest-growing major programming language. This is based on analyzing the number and quality of questions about a topic.

3. High demand jobs for Python

Python programming is highly in demand because of its lightning fast growth. Python is ranked #2 on LinkedIn.com's most popular job search platform, based on the number and demand for Python programming languages in 2020.

These statistics are only for the US Markets. However, Python is highly sought after worldwide. Only 11% of coding bootcamps offer Python instruction. We are proud that we are one of the few who can teach this powerful programming language.

This graph doesn't include SQL because SQL is a query language, not a programming language. SQL is a valuable skill for software developers. Indeed.com lists more than 60,000. Our curriculum teaches both SQL and Python. We want to help you succeed in today's competitive job market.

4. Python is simple to learn, read, and write.

Python was created with the aim of simplifying complex programming and retaining only the essential. Python is therefore easier to learn, read, and write than other programming languages.

WP Engine asked 909 developers in the US which programming language was the most easy to learn. HTML came in second, while Python was third. Some developers argue that Python is more of an HTML scripting language than a programming language. Python's "high readability" and "simple syntax that is easy for beginners to understand" are two of its strengths.

New programmers can find it frustrating to have to learn the syntax of different languages before they can complete their first task. Your first "Hello World!" program is just a line away with Python. This is in contrast to the 4 or 5 lines required for other programming languages. Programmers can use Python's fast syntax to quickly get up and running and compress logic into small scripts.

Python can also be used as an interpreted programming language. You can execute each line of code immediately after you have finished writing it, unlike Java and C++. This is great news for programmers who are just starting out because they can instantly get feedback and not have to wait for the entire program to compile before they figure out what character you missed.

It's not surprising that Python is the most popular programming language.

Because Python is easy to read and write, it was named Stack Overflow’s most desired programming language for 2020. This measure measures the percentage non-Python developers that want to learn Python. Stack Overflow ranked Python #3, behind TypeScript and Rust, as the most popular programming language among developers in 2020.

Today, only a small percentage of the coders are professional software engineers. Programming is a popular choice for people of all ages and career paths due to its versatility across many industries and professions and the availability of learning tools. Python is a popular choice for professionals and hobby coders who need an easier way automate tasks or to analyze data.
