Use humor to shape wisdom
Moderate humor and an appropriate response to the humor of others are more important than anything else.

Before Roosevelt was elected president of the United States, his home was burglarized, and friends wrote to him to comfort him.
Roosevelt wrote back:
"Thank you for your letter, I am at peace now because:
First, the thieves only stole my property and did not harm my life.
Second, thieves stole some things, but not all.
Third, the most fortunate thing is that it was he who was the thief, not me. "
Former US President Ronald Reagan, in the early days of his presidency, was shot once and was seriously wounded. The bullet penetrated his chest and was in critical condition.
At the moment of life and death, the first words Reagan said to his wife who came to visit were:
"My dear, I forgot to escape."
The American people know that the president can still maintain his sense of humor when he is seriously injured, and his recovery should be just around the corner. His humor stabilizes the turbulent situation that could arise from injury.
It doesn't matter how good or bad something happens, what matters is from which angle you approach it.
British Prime Minister Wilson, in the middle of a speech, was suddenly interrupted by a troublemaker in the audience: "Shit! Trash!"
Although Wilson was disturbed, he was impatient and said calmly, "Sir, please be patient, I will talk about the environmental protection issue you raised in a moment."
The audience couldn't help applauding his witty response.
Only by mastering your emotions can you master your future.
Once, British Prime Minister Churchill gave a public speech and handed a note from the audience with only two words "idiot" written on it.
Knowing that there were opponents in the audience waiting to see him make a fool of himself, Churchill said calmly to everyone:
"I received a letter just now, but unfortunately the writer only remembered the signature and forgot to write the content."
Not only was Churchill not controlled by his unpleasant emotions, but he used humor to defeat the opponent. It was really high!
One mouth opens the fragrance of lotus flowers; the other hands do good deeds diligently;
Once, Bernard Shaw was walking on the street and was knocked to the ground by a daredevil riding a bicycle. Fortunately, he was not in serious trouble. The perpetrator hurriedly helped him up, apologized repeatedly, and Bernard Shaw patted his buttocks and said humorously:
"You're so unlucky, sir, if you kill me, you'll be famous all over the world.
A person with a sense of humor, thinks healthily in everything, maintains a positive attitude, and is easy to save when encountering difficulties.
The genius humorist Chaplin was once robbed by gangsters with a gun to the head. Chaplin knew that he was at a disadvantage, so he didn't make senseless resistance, and obediently offered his wallet.
However, he said to the robber: "The money is not mine, but my boss's. Now that you have taken this money, the boss must think that I have embezzled public funds. Brother, I want to discuss it with you, please put it in my hat. Two shots were fired, proving that I was robbed."
The gangster thought to himself, with this money, this small request can certainly be satisfied, so he fired two shots at the hat.
Chaplin pleaded again: "Brother, can you put another shot on my clothes and one more in my pants, so that my boss can be more convinced."
The simple-minded robbers who were blinded by money did all the same, and all 6 bullets were fired. At this time, Chaplin swung a punch, knocked out the robber, retrieved his wallet and left with a smile.
In the years ahead, you will find that there are many situations that you cannot answer directly, but that you can resolve with humor; you will also find that in banquet occasions, a moderate amount of humor and an appropriate response to the humor of others are more important than anything else.
You should even know that humor is an attitude to life. Like the examples I gave earlier, humor enables you to turn negative things into positive ones. People with a sense of humor show that they have greater resilience.
If you think about it from a different angle, you may be able to produce some humor!
