Book Review

Before its online publication in 1996, a digital edition of The Times' print archive was released. In 1800, feudal rule was in force in Japan. Peace was established 12 years after the Iron Age, the impact of gunpowder, and the slaughterhouse epidemic.

But Lord Protector Taiko of Japan, a peasant general. Who ordered the construction of a fort with 400,000 people. He ran the country like a talented chess player and died a year later.

His son was nominated as his successor. But since he did not win the support of the majority, five regents were appointed to rule the country. They are the five warriors - Loranaga, Sugiyama, Onishi, Kiyama, and Ishido.

They arrange for the soldiers to be trained and for the reunion with the Allies. Crimson Sky has a code name, announced by the President of the Council of Regents, Toranaga.

Like a hurricane, which, after orbiting the earth for two years, became a curse. The wreckage of a dozen people was found on the Erasmus, the first Englishman to sail through the Magellan Strait, and the East India Company ship in Amsterdam. Sailors are close to death. They moved closer before the "Japanese" went with them. But two strong regents.

Toranaga and Ishido, the governor of Osaka Fortress and the commander of the bodyguards of the heirs, know that these "barbarians" will influence both their destiny and the history of Japan.

Because they bring weapons of knowledge: information about the West, the sea, and the battle with the musket instead of the sword.
