The Poison of Wealth and the Pain of Man

Wealth is not the way to happiness, it often becomes the reason for human sorrow.

True Peace

Every person in this world is searching for happiness. We all want peace, comfort, and a life where we can feel safe and respected. Most people believe that money is the key to this happiness. They think, “If I earn more, if I collect more wealth, then my problems will vanish and my life will shine.” At first, it sounds true because money can give us food, clothes, and shelter. But the deeper truth is very different. Wealth, if it becomes too much, often turns into poison. Instead of peace, it brings pain. Instead of smiles, it creates tears.

Let us think about the life of a poor man and a rich man. The poor man works all day. He earns little, but at night he goes home to his small family. They sit together, share food, talk with love, and sleep peacefully. On the other side, the rich man sits in his big house, surrounded by gold and luxury, but his heart is empty. He has money, but he does not have peace. He has a big bed, but sleep runs away from his eyes. This is the poison of wealth: it makes you rich from the outside but poor from the inside.

Wealth also changes human nature. A simple man, when he becomes rich, often becomes proud. He starts looking down on others. He forgets his old friends, his simple roots, and the poor people around him. This pride becomes the beginning of his downfall. Because money can never protect a man from time. Today he may have everything, tomorrow he can lose it all. When wealth is lost, the proud man is left alone, and he tastes the real pain of life.

Money also builds walls between people. Two close friends may walk together for years, but when one becomes rich and the other remains poor, their friendship begins to break. The rich man no longer wants to sit with the poor one. He thinks his money has made him better, higher, and special. This wall is not of stone, but of ego. And ego is heavier than any rock. It destroys the beauty of relationships and fills the heart with sorrow.

Another bitter truth is that in the race for wealth, many people lose their values. They choose wrong paths just to get more. Lies, fraud, bribery, and even oppression become part of their journey. They think they are winning, but inside they are burning. Because wealth can buy a soft bed but not a soft heart. It can buy medicine but not health. It can buy a house but not a home.

Yes, money is important. We cannot deny this fact. Without money, survival becomes difficult. We need it for food, clothes, and education. But the danger begins when money becomes the only goal of life. When a man runs only after wealth, forgetting love, respect, and honesty, he loses his real self. He becomes a slave of money. And slavery always brings pain.

True happiness lies in balance. A wise man earns money, but he also protects his soul. He uses wealth as a tool, not as a master. He spends it on his family, helps the poor, and keeps his heart soft. Such a man may not have millions, but he will have peace. And peace is something no bank in the world can give.

So, what is the lesson? Wealth is not evil by itself. The poison comes when we love it too much, when we worship it, when we let it control our hearts. A man with little money but with contentment is the richest person. A man with endless money but no peace is the poorest soul on earth.

In the end, the truth is simple: wealth is temporary, but humanity is forever. If we live with love, if we value people more than money, if we keep our hearts pure, then life will be beautiful, no matter how much or how little money we have.

In the journey of life, let wealth remain in the hand, not in the heart—for only then can a man truly taste the sweetness of peace and humanity.
