You're going to be selling something, so let's get that out of the way first. You can't expect people to buy from you unless they have something they want in return (or at least think they do). So what should this "something" be? Well, it depends on what kind of business model you want:

If you go with direct sales (like Avon), then your product will be cosmetics, jewelry or whatever other goods are popular in your market area.

If an affiliate network is more up your alley (like Commission Junction), then your product will be information products like ebooks and courses about how to make money online.

Or maybe even pay per click advertising (like Google AdWords)? In this case, the main thing is finding out where people searching for products similar to yours are located so that when someone searches for "buy cheap dog food online," instead of showing results from Amazon and Chewy - which might not include any ads from us - we show them our ad instead!

The next step is to find people who are willing to buy your product or service. This can be done in a variety of ways, but there are some best practices you should follow when trying out new methods:

Make sure that the advertising mediums you choose are relevant to your target audience. For example, if you're selling fitness products then don't advertise them on Facebook where most users aren't interested in fitness related content; instead try Instagram where there will be more potential buyers who might be interested in what you have available for sale.

Consider using paid ads if possible since these tend to get better results than organic search engine optimization (SEO) efforts alone since they ensure that every visitor has already expressed interest by clicking through before reaching their website pages which increases conversion rates significantly over time compared with just relying on organic search engine rankings alone!

Sell on Amazon, eBay, Craigslist and Etsy.

Build your own website.

Sell at a flea market or fair.

Become an affiliate for someone else's product or service. You'll get commissions if someone buys something through your link and they will pay you every month as long as they keep buying from that company!

This is great because you don't have to deal with any customer service issues because it's all handled by the company whose product or service is being sold.* Join a network marketing company like Forever Living (they sell aloe vera products), Amway (they sell cleaning supplies) or Herbalife (they sell nutrition supplements).

The great thing about these businesses is that once people start buying from them regularly then there's no need for any additional marketing effort on your part; just sit back and watch money roll into your bank account!

You can do it yourself, but it's hard. You could hire someone to do it for you, but that would cost a lot of money and time (and possibly even more money). Or...you could find an expert salesperson who can help you sell your product or service with minimal input from yourself!

To make money online, you probably need a website.

You also probably need to find customers who want to buy your product or service.

You might also want somewhere for them to go when they're ready to buy it from you.

And last but not least--don't forget about the expert salesperson who will help you make money!
