The most important knowledge on earth is the knowledge of God's law. The Bible is not just for devotion; it is a manual for learning God's laws. Devotions alone don't protect you from failure, but understanding and obeying God's laws do. Just as planting a seed in the soil, rather than praying over it, makes it grow, knowing and following God's laws brings success.

The Force of Law

The most powerful force on earth is law. Consider a seed: once you obey the laws governing seeds by planting them in the soil and providing moisture, the power within the seed takes over. Seeds are so powerful that they can even break through concrete. This demonstrates that obeying laws gives you the power to overcome obstacles and resistance in life. Life isn't about fighting against challenges; it's about obeying laws that automatically give you the strength to break through hindrances. Obedience might be challenging because it goes against our nature to do things our own way, but it is the key to harnessing life's power.

Inherent and Necessary Laws

Laws are inherent in creation and necessary for life. Everything in existence, from animals and plants to planets and humans, must obey laws. Learning these laws is essential for living a successful life. The Bible states in Psalm 19:7, "The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul." Obedience to God's laws is essential for a flourishing life.

The Key to Success

The key to success in life is understanding and following God's laws. Absence of law leads to destruction. Imagine placing a mango seed, which contains a mango tree, in a glass of alcohol. The seed cannot grow because it is not meant to live in alcohol. Similarly, ignoring God's laws guarantees failure. As you review your life, assess the people you associate with, the activities you engage in, the movies you watch, and the music you listen to.

Living by God's Design

God created life to function by law. To live effectively, you must learn and obey God's laws, much like studying a manual to operate machinery. Psalm 119:97-98 says, "Oh, how I love your law! I meditate on it all day long. Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies." Learning God's laws and principles brings wisdom, making you more insightful than those around you.

Wisdom and Confidence

King David understood this, proclaiming that knowing God's laws made him wiser than his teachers and elders (Psalm 119:99-100). Consider a workplace scenario where a seasoned employee feels overshadowed by a young college graduate who becomes their boss. The difference lies in knowledge. The young graduate spent years learning the latest technology, while the veteran resisted it. Computers and other advancements operate by their own laws, regardless of age or experience.

Knowledge breeds confidence, while ignorance leads to guessing. Proverbs 1:7 says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Learning God's laws empowers you to live boldly and confidently. Ignorance keeps you guessing and uncertain. To thrive, you must immerse yourself in the knowledge of God's laws.

By doing so, you align your mind with God's principles, ensuring success and prosperity in all aspects of life.
