The LSAT Revised Part Two

As I studied for the LSAT in 2018, while taking on one of the most corrupt attorney's in the world Jennifer Burns aka Davenport I had no idea that as I rewrote it so that it made sense to me..which I wish Powerscore would incorporate into their books (They are amazing as they are but sometimes people need an adaption to make sense to them, and it is as simple as removing the repetition in the books and adding a space for the student to make a scenario that they can relate to) . Jon Denning did me the most amazing kindness, he was a Twitter Contact who I hate has disappeared from my life. He really was a great encouragement. We discussed repurposing of PowerScore books for underprivileged students. I had books purchased in 2017, he offered and sent me a Powerscore Logic Games book. Sadly, on the way to me it got damaged by weather, and to my surprise another one arrived wrapped in tape like it could survive a nuclear holocaust. It did until the Pooler PD took it and all the study materials, charts and graphs I had made, and the electronic ones are locked somewhere in my icloud the Chatham County Sheriff's department took in June 2019, when they took my MacBook Pro , IPad and Iphone.

I have been trying to take the LSAT since 2018 again and have been kept from taking it by one person or another, along with recovering all my notes.

In between when not being able to take it, despite registering time after time, I tried to remember everything I had learned - My nemonic for the 13 types of LSAT Argument types - In CM (Can't be true, Must Be True), MP's (Main Point, Parallel / Parallel Flaw) can use FB (Fill in the Blank) , except RJ (Resolve the Paradox, Justify the Conclusion) because they SAW (Strengthen, Assumption, Weaken) the PoeM (Point at Issue, Method of Reasoning) Desiderata .

I found the Logic Games could solve more real life issues than anything that can be tested for (Yes, I get the point, it's about determining a chain of events, and circumstances under which they can occur) but it also works for things like the ICU bed crisis and court docketing. It's kinda like learning Geometry from playing Pool.. That's how I learned to understand angles and degrees (Thank You to the bar owner that would let me come in and play afterschool, I know it was a restaurant too but I was always safe there. Many many nights in college would later be spent there writing term papers when home was not a place I wanted to be. More friends were made in those years that I carry with me today that were family when home wasn't a place I could study because of mom). I even used it to try and save football season when it wasn't sure if it would be because the pandemic.

The applicability of the Logic Games really can solve more as a mathematical function than analytical reasoning could ever teach a lawyer. Case and effect are easily determinable, and don't have the restriction of the Logic Games in real life. It teaches lawyers to create restrictions that the real world doesn't impose. The possibilities for why something happens is not finite, it requires interpretations of human behavior which no one can restrict. It happens because of people's decisions , which no law can interpret or explain. Psychology and Law would be a better thing to teach.

Fundamentally, the issue is this- The more commonsense you have the harder the LSAT is for you. The more you can interpret the real world the more the LSAT adds an extra step for you- because you have to restrict your thinking to a world that is sometimes converse than what it really is. When you add in the time restriction you are hindering the people who you want in law school, the thinkers, the ones that look at the perspective of all sides and can sift out the nonsense, the emotion, the public out cry, separate their own personal opinion and make a decision according to a black and white set of laws that are often arcane, and need of revision and never really address the entire populous. The law needs to adapt, not overcome, but adapt to the ever changing pace of technology, changes in the way things are. That never happens. More laws are made, on top of of bad ones, when bad ones just need to be revised- updated.

I'm sure everyone is going to hate me for this, and that is fine..it's just an example. In 2021, Adultery is still illegal in Georgia, sexual assault statuates don't take into account the ever growing and common issue of male sexual assault. So we are denying an entire group of people the same benieft a woman (unless you are me, who can't get any law enforcement agency to investigate my sexual assault and expects me to prove it as a woman, but won't take the evidence that exists of it or even interview me- and would rather protect an inept Detective Sarah Miller for not doing her job then to even have a conversation with me) . What is a bigger crime- a married man falling in love with a woman or a tow truck driver raping a judicial officer who was there trying to protect the jobs of the people who won't even put a perpetrators in jail, prevented from reporting it to law enforcement by law enforcement. I would say a tow truck driver raping any woman and law enforcement giving him the right to make a statement and not letting the victim. The point is the cause and effect in that case, Jennifer Davenport, Van Johnson and Judge Thomas Bass who dearmed me, but also Jennifer Greene a MAAC employee who let someone take my driver's license from my apartment, The Pooler PD for taking my car with the evidence and preventing me from being able to go get the hard copies, Chatham County Sheriff deputies for taking my electronics and Brookhaven PD for not being willing to even investigate it..that can't be solved by a Logic Game. It can only be solved by them having done their job. Because they haven't they actually should be charged criminally for the sexual assault, a party the crime and are defendants in a Federal RICO that spans the state of Georgia. No logic game is going to teach any law student that.
