Great inventions are always the architect of their own downfall. Many white-collar of society studied thirty different great inventions and founded the same patterns. Great inventions commit suicide. And they describe our education system as an invention which has quote, “ran its course which is morally, aesthetically and spiritually bankrupt. Is the background of constant stress and worries that dirtied our traditional school system a sign that we know it has come to its end? More students are committing suicide than ever before. Stress, fear and panic has never depressed as many students like actual misery does to ordinary people. But the issue isn’t just depression. According to a recent study published, ninety percent of students have no idea of what future path they are going to take. The number of eighteen to nineteen year older entering university have no idea of how they are going to finance their education. Depression levels between teen age students are higher than ever, suicide incident relates to over work and over study are higher than ever. Despite all its great achievement, all its great student and all its great views, traditional school for the first time in history has become the issue. Its fundamental believes and practices has been more consented on people’s incapability to fulfill them and has slowly been submerged from within as a sign of self-destruction.

The fruits of traditional school’s labor have ironically built a society where its founding parent is no more needed. Traditional school is a far cry to its own labor. science, economics, engineering, politics, computing, literature those are the pillars that built the current world in which we are living, and it is this creation of ingenuity that brought about the current state of traditional school. Educational and intellectual material has manifested a clueless-like society which has eviscerated any clue of how it was founded. How did this happen? How did traditional school once the only hope and product heritage of the world became the issue? Well to understand that, we must look at its life cycle and the purpose of school in a society. In all times and places, the human species have always wanted to expand far beyond their roots of knowledge and discover what lies beyond us. It is only natural for us to push the boundaries of wisdom further and further. Because not only it solves a lot of problems for us, but it also helps us to have a better understanding of existence itself. And this is what inventions was made for in the first place. To provide more and more advance technical and sophisticated way of life. And there was no better scheme at this level than education. traditional School became the hope, treasure, and building block of a society. Which is why it was implemented in every single country. Because it represents the only labor that can forge the most valuable asset ever known to humanity knowledge. Originated from France, traditional school mad its way to the rest of the world. Having won the game of society.

But then, something happened. The world began to experience a massive shift in the future. Massive industries where been made thanks to the knowledge obtained by education, there was a big shift in world development. More people where emerging form poverty, there was a better understanding of medicine, and there was a crucial need to maintain this rapid growth. Therefore, quality of life became high and so did the cost of affording those high quality of life. And for this reason, traditional school became what it is now. An economic affair rather than a basic humanitarian need. Now of course it is still provided in many developed countries as an essential basic need but still at a high cost. And many have suggested that it is this new crony capitalist system that has destroyed the value of traditional school. But why? the discovery of great inventions has always come at a great cost. Every invention needs to be financed to not only build it but to maintained it as well. Why was it different this time? Because this new era brought about something that the world had never seen before. It brought about the existence of something that is more advance and richer in knowledge than traditional education. The internet. Now the amount of knowledge and information you can access from the internet has exceeded that of traditional education. In fact, it is not surprising that today most schools use the internet to help its teaching. And for this reason, traditional school wasn’t bringing in the knowledge it uses to bring.

I spend a lot of time with people in many places. And the lack of basic educational knowledge that I whiteness with them is unbelievable. Most of them not been able to form a sentence correctly or not knowing when to but a punctuation signs, or not been able to do basic math. Yet this people spend year and year in school and has financed their education during all that time. Which is what has become the issue with our traditional school system not only it is costlier than ever before, but it doesn’t educate like it used to do. Which is why student are depressed, which is why they commit suicide which is why they are not properly educated to be intellectuals. Because traditional school is now structured in a way where intellectualism serves not to elevate but to denigrate natural talent. If you are good at subjects like mathematics or science, you will be labeled as smart but if you are not but rather performance is subject such as art you will be labeled as irrational. And it is this state of mind that student today find themselves into. All students are been required to be the same. But that is simply reducing their ability to cultivate their knowledge.

The time clearly has arrived for virtual school. It will help disabled kid or kids that have been in care to attend the same educational outcome as their peers. Virtual school covers lots of benefit not merely on a personal but on a population scale. University been one of the most significant examples. In America alone student debts stands at 1.4 trillion dollars. Making school virtual will annihilate every financial difficulty related to education. And this is only the short-term effect of virtual school the long-term effect of it will be just like the internet. With traditional school if a child cannot attend his physical school building for a reason such as transport, then he or she simply cannot have access to education. Whereas with virtual school a child can have complete access to educational material from everywhere. They could sleep in London and wake up the next day in New York city without having to worry about school attendance. They could be on the beach on a Sunday evening and at franchise restaurant the next night having completed all their schoolwork. This as you could guess will dramatically reduce the stress and panic that student face today. School will become part of their everyday life rather than a heavy to do requirement forced on them if it becomes virtual. There’s a say “when the world shift, people should shift with it.” it is still illogical that the world isn’t like it used to be hundreds of year ago, but school still is.

The term “nothing ever last forever” is understandable. Traditional school just like any other great invention has an end and a virtual school society marks the beginning of this end. But if there is something more important to take note from in this broadsheet newspaper, is that even a virtual school system will not last. Once human development will surpass the virtual level humanity will once again be in an urge for the next sophisticated way of harvesting their knowledge. And virtual school will be face with challenges during its late phases just like traditional school has been facing challenges during the late face of its own life-cycle. Just like traditional school was overcome by the arrival of the digital capacity, virtual school will find the same way ahead and an even greater invention will overcome it.
