Some people travel just to be completely confused by their new surroundings, to look around and have no idea what's going on, and to enjoy that feeling. Strange things you might see on your trips can be anything from strange natural events to strange human-made tourist traps. Even the people who live there don't always know what's going on. Mount Roraima is, in a nutshell, another world. It looks a lot like the world in the hit Hollywood movie "Journey to the Mysterious Island." There is a big mountain with a flat top, a unique environment with many rare plant and animal species, and some of the highest waterfalls in the world. It is thought that the mountain is about 2 billion years old, and its beautiful scenery has been the theme of many stories and movies. Would you be brave enough to go to a place that was in both the 2009 Pixar movie "Up" and the 1912 classic "The Lost World" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle?
