An Education in Narcissistic Violence
It is quite common to find Narcissistic tendencies in many walks of life, including close personal relationships, the world of work and social gatherings and interactions. And it should come as no surprise that the condition, more often than not, first comes into play during a person's early years of development at home and at school. Eventually, narcissism can progress well into adulthood and is a major cause of problems between us as individuals. Here I will touch upon a few examples of how it affected me during my early years in my life at home as well as at school during my secondary education.

Cyber bully
art writing...Cyberbu llying: A Digital Monster In a world where our lives are becoming increasingly tied to the digital space, cyberbullying has emerged as a significant cause for concern. Unlike traditional bullying, which typically involves face-to-face interactions, cyberbullying can happen at any time, anywhere, and to anyone. It is insidious, persistent, and often anonymous. Cyberbullying can take many forms. It can include harassment (insults or threats), spreading rumours, impersonation, outing and trickery (gaining an individual’s trust and then using online media to distribute their secrets) or exclusion (excluding an individual from activities). These activities can be performed via e-mail, instant messaging, text message, social networking sites such as Facebook or Tumblr, and other websites The anonymity factor is especially worrying. It can create a sense of impunity in the mind of the bully who delights in tormenting others. A digital avatar provides a shield of anonymity that can embolden even the shyest amongst us. Faceless, nameless accounts can invade our personal space, creating a virtual battleground where the bully rapidly gains momentum. They begin with a post or comment and before long, a full-fledged assault begins. The victim becomes powerless to stop the attacks that can go on for hours, days, and even months. The effects on victims of cyberbullying can be devastating. Mentally – feeling upset, embarrassed, stupid, even afraid or angry. Emotionally – feeling ashamed or losing interest in the things you love. Physically – tired (loss of sleep), or experiencing symptoms like stomach aches and headaches . They can experience depression, anxiety, stress, and other psychological problems. In extreme cases, it can even lead to self-harm or suicide. This is a digital monster that is claiming lives at an alarming rate. The sad truth is that people have committed suicide as a direct result of cyberbullying, leaving their loved ones behind asking themselves what they could have done to prevent it. Cyberbullying is not just child’s play. Adults are not immune either. It's not uncommon for adults to experience cyberbullying in the workplace or online communities. No one is safe.
