Rekindling Love: A Journey Back to Us
Prologue
Ansh and Siya had been married for ten years. Their relationship was built on love and dedication, but as time passed, life got busier. The little things that once added sweetness to their bond had slowly faded. They still loved each other, yet they were drifting apart despite being close.
An Evening Begins
It was six in the evening. Ansh returned from work and saw Siya sitting on the balcony, a book in her hands, but her gaze was lost in the distance.
"Whatâs wrong?" Ansh asked, sitting beside her.
Siya gave a faint smile. "Nothing, just like that."
Ansh held her hand. "Siya, I know that âjust like thatâ never really means âjust like that.â"
Siya gently pulled her hand away. "Ansh, do you ever feel like weâve changed? We donât talk like before, we donât spend time together."
Ansh sighed. "Yes, I feel it. But canât we fix it?"
Siyaâs eyes glistened with unshed tears. "How? Youâre always busy with work, and Iâm caught up in home responsibilities. Days pass, but we never find time for each other."
Ansh looked at her closely. He realized how much she had been holding in. He was about to say something when their son, Aarav, came running. "Mom, Dad, come play with me outside!"
Siya smiled at him and went inside, but Ansh sat there thinkingâwas he really not giving Siya the time she deserved?
A Special Evening Plan
The next day, Ansh decided to do something special. He left work early and brought Siyaâs favorite chocolates and a bouquet of roses.
When he arrived home, Siya was in the kitchen. Ansh placed his hands gently on her shoulders from behind.
"Siya, can I take you out tonight?" he asked with a warm smile.
Siya turned to him in surprise. "Out? So suddenly?"
Ansh held out the bouquet. "Not suddenly⌠Iâve been thinking about it for a while. I just got the chance today."
Siya took the flowers and chuckled softly. "Alright, let me get ready."
Remembering Old Days
At eight in the evening, they were at their favorite restaurant. The table was lit with soft candlelight, and a gentle romantic tune played in the background.
"Do you remember, Siya, the first time we came here?" Ansh asked, looking into her eyes.
Siya smiled. "Yes, and you accidentally ordered the extra spicy pasta. Even after burning your mouth, you acted like it was no big deal."
Ansh laughed. "And you forced me to drink cold water! I still remember that day."

Siyaâs eyes filled with nostalgia. "Ansh, we were so close back then. We found joy in the smallest things. Now, everything feels different."
Ansh held her hand. "Nothing has changed, Siya. We just got busy. But our love is still the same. We just need to feel it again."
Siya looked at him. "Can we really go back to how we were?"
Ansh smiled. "Why not? From today, right now, I promise to make you feel every day that you are the most beautiful part of my life."
Flashback â Their First Meeting
Siyaâs mind drifted to old memories. She remembered the first time she met Ansh at a friendâs wedding. There was something about his eyes that caught her attention instantly.
"Do you remember when we first met?" Siya asked softly.
Ansh nodded. "Of course. You were in a pink saree and came up to me asking where you could find coffee."
Siya laughed. "And you handed me a glass of water instead!"
Ansh grinned. "Because I wanted an excuse to keep talking to you."
A New Beginning
That night, they talked for hours, reliving old memories and, most importantly, truly listening to each other.
On the way home, Siya held Anshâs hand. "Thank you, Ansh. Tonight was really special."
Ansh kissed her forehead softly. "This is just the beginning, my love. Every day will be special from now on."
A spark returned to Siyaâs eyes. She realized that love never fades; it just needs to be nurtured.
New Promises, New Hopes
The next morning, Ansh surprised Siya by making breakfast.
"Just for you today," he said.
Siya smiled, taking the first bite. "So much love?"
Ansh chuckled. "It was always there. Iâm just making sure you feel it now."
Siyaâs eyes filled with love. She hugged him tightly.
In the EndâŚ
Love doesnât survive on grand gestures but on small, everyday moments. A touch, a smile, a little conversationâthese are the things that make relationships strong.
Ansh and Siyaâs story teaches us that sometimes, we just need to pause and start reliving our love again.
Because you are the oneâŚ!
